Dena was first introduced to Pilates in 2004 at her local fitness studio. Seeing & feeling the benefits of regular Pilates, she decided that after 10 years as a trauma nurse it was time for a change in direction – to continue to improve peoples’ well-being, but in a preventative fashion as opposed to patching them up. Dena followed through on her commitment and pursued her passion by becoming a qu

alified instructor, successfully completed with the highly regarded STOTT PILATES� discipline. STOTT PILATES� is known as the ‘professional’s choice’ in Pilates instructor training and education. STOTT PILATES� is Canadian, with its headquarters in Toronto, but with a global presence across 118 countries. Dena’s teaching experience has been with a wide breadth of experience from beginners to those with more advanced capability. But regardless of level, Dena develops tailored & innovative individual programs to ensure that clients achieve their personal goals. Dena’s classes are varied, dynamic & challenging. Dena has recently returned to UK from Australia, where she ran her own Pilates Studio, teaching a variety of Pilates based classes including mat Pilates with Props, Reformer, Prenatal Pilates & mums with bubs, as well as b***ybarre�. Dena has also had a period living in the Middle East with her family. There, she worked at one of Saudi Arabia’s leading fitness studios where she was the lead Pilates instructor. The clientele at this studio included members of the Saudi Arabian Royal Family & members of the international diplomatic community. Constantly keeping abreast of latest developments in her field, Dena came across the barre discipline. Fun, cardio, great results & with the discipline of Pilates as their foundation, barre classes bring another dimension to Dena’s workout programs. Dena is qualified as both an Xtend Barre� & b***ybarre� instructor. As evidenced by the following schedule of training courses, Dena is a big believer in continuous professional development. ✨ Happy New Year! ✨

I hope you’ve had a cosy, joy-filled festive break.
The studio doors are about to fling back open for 2026 🎉 and honestly, it feels good to return to routine and settle back into ourselves again.

January can be a bit loud with “NEW YEAR, NEW ME!” energy (hello to all the runners charging up the hill this morning whilst I was walking the dog 🐕 🏃‍♀️😄). But give it a couple of weeks and that momentum often fizzles. For me, January is still a time to restore and nurture.

Ease yourself back into rhythm. Add small changes if you need to. There’s no rush. When the days grow longer and brighter, we tend to have a much better chance of succeeding. So use this time to gently prepare, reflect, and plan what you’d love 2026 to bring 🌱

Well here we are at the end of the year… where has it gone?

It’s hard to believe that January 2026 will mark 10 years since I first opened the doors to Reform Studio. What began as a vision has grown into a space filled with movement, strength, laughter, and an incredible sense of community.

For some of you, you’ve been there since day one — trusting me, supporting the studio, and growing alongside it from the very beginning. For others, you may have joined us more recently, and I’m just as grateful that our paths have crossed.

This studio has always been about more than Pilates. It’s about showing up for yourself, finding balance, building resilience, the banter and feeling supported — both on and off the reformer or barre. Watching you move, progress, recover, and celebrate milestones (big and small) is what continues to inspire me every single day.

As we head into a new year, I want to say thank you — for your commitment, your energy, and for being such an important part of the Reform community.

I’m so proud of what we’ve built together and excited for what the next chapter will bring.

The studio is now closed and will reopen Saturday 3rd January 2026 😊

All classes are 50minutes in duration & small groups.

Barre is a fan all over workout using hand weights, ballet moves and fantastic abs to ensure no muscle is left behind. Honestly you have not done a good barre class until you’ve tried this one!

Reformer is a Pilates piece of equipment that works on springs & pulleys. Don’t be fooled by the fact that you may get to lie down for some of the class, every movement will have a core connection. Props such as balls, bands & circles can be used within this class for added bonus. 😁

Burn, now this class does exactly what it says on the tin….using weights and moves that can be found in a Pilates class we challenge those muscles to work, to strengthen and tone. 💪

I reckon it’s about time you tried a class
