Severnside Badminton Club Severnside BC is a sociable badminton club geared towards seasoned players It is an open & friendly club always looking for new members.

Severnside Badminton Club plays in the Gloucestershire badminton league in the Men's, Ladies, and Mixed divisions The club typically fields 7 or 8 teams each year and has maintained a history of being one of the top teams in the league. The standard is geared towards good level club players up to county level players. If you're unsure if you play at a suitable standard, pop down for a session and

have a hit and a chat with one of the reps or send us a message. The season typically runs from the beginning of September to the end of March, with 2 club nights on offer - Mondays and Thursday evenings from 8-10pm. There is a summer club which picks up from beginning of April through to the end of August and offers an open club night every Monday and Thursday. This is open to non-members, it's run on a pay-per play basis, £7 for adults, £5 for juniors. Membership
The club is always looking for new members to join and welcomes prospective players to come along as a visitor for a couple of sessions to try it out. For the 2024-25 season, annual membership for adults is £190 for men, £160 for ladies, and £100 for students and juniors. For more information on the Gloucestershire Badminton League visit

Our final week!

Our Mixed 2 ended their campaign with a compelling win away to Pittville 1s 6-3

As did our Men's 3 away to Allseasons 1s who won 8-4

Our Mixed 2 win their home-tie to Cleeve Mixed 1 by a resounding 8-1 margin, of which confirms our spot in the Premier Division next season!

It was a super week for a lot of teams, with plenty on the line and new champions named! 🎉

Men's 4 collected a superb away to hosts Hatherley Men's 2s winning 10-2 with their fate still in the balance but the odds look good! 👌🏽

Men's 2 sealed Division 2 crowned champions, beating our nearest rivals Hatherley 1s 10-2 🏆

Ladies 1 sealed an emphatic win away to Malvern 1s with a clean sweep of 12-0

Mixed 1 hosted a title-winning thriller to rivals St Whites X1 winning 5-4 and crowned Div 1 Champs! 🏆

Men's 1 also hosted while collecting another win towards the Div 1 title against Pittville 1s by 11-1

Men's 2 started this week with a dominant performance away to relegated All Seasons Mens 1, winning 12-0 🙌🏾

Men's 1 suffered their first defeat of the season, away to St Whites Men's 1 with a 9-3 setback

While Mixed 1 produced a dominant win at home to Riverside X1, winning 8-1👏🏽

This bumper week witnessed all three different outcomes for our teams!

Men's 2 were victorious in the Forest of Dean with a comprehensive 11-1 win over St Whites 2 🙌🏾

Ladies 1 battled all the way, with visitors St Whites 1s victorious by a margin of 7-5

Men's 4 produced a stunning come back, picking up some vital points home to Cleeve 2, drawing 6-6👊🏽
