🥉 What a day at the SJDL Final in Coventry on Saturday!!
Despite some last-minute challenges, our swimmers pulled together brilliantly climbing from 6th to finish 3rd, just 6 points off the top spot.

Huge shoutout to Toby 'The Pocket Rocket' Moore for stepping up to swim 9 events, and to our captains Duygu and Bertram for leading from the front.

PBs, first-place relays, tutus, and karaoke on the way home that's a wrap on this year's SJDL journey!

A massive thank you to coaches Dan, Ross and Rob & Paul, our officials, Team Managers, and Jo Caddy for all the behind-the-scenes coordination none of this happens without you! 🙌

Next stop: Club Champs on the 27th and 28th June.

B FINAL BOUND — LET’S GOOO!!

We are absolutely BUZZING to announce that CSWPC will be competing in the SJDL (Swimgainz Junior Development League) B Final!

📅 Saturday 30th May
📍 Alan Higgs Pool, Coventry

First things first — a HUGE shoutout to our incredible Swim Captains:

These two have shown nothing but solid commitment and pure passion throughout the league to get us here.

A strong team is making the trip to Coventry, and we cannot WAIT. A massive thank you to every swimmer who has been part of this journey in previous rounds. You helped make this B Final possible, and that means everything.

The crowd? Oh, we will be making ourselves HEARD.

To our amazing coaches, team managers, and officials; thank you for your tireless support, dedication, and love for this club. You make it all happen behind the scenes.

🌊✨ What an incredible evening at the Cheltenham & District Primary Schools Swimming Gala 2026! ✨🌊

Last night, CSWPC and the amazing team at Leisure@ had the privilege of welcoming 17 primary schools, around 200 Year 5 and Year 6 swimmers, supported by over 120 cheering parents for a truly memorable night of competitive swimming.

The atmosphere was electric from start to finish, with every school bringing their competitive spirit and their voices! 📣 It was a wonderful reminder of what community sport is all about celebrating swimming, nurturing young talent, and bringing people together.

A huge congratulations to every single swimmer who took part last night. You should all be incredibly proud not just of your swimming, but of your team spirit and the way you represented your schools. A true credit to your teachers, parents, and yourselves. 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️

💙 Thank you to all 17 schools for joining us.
💙 Thank you to the fantastic staff Leisureat cheltenham for their support.
💙 And the biggest thank you of all to our incredible army of CSWPC volunteers this event simply wouldn't happen without your dedication and hard work.

⭐️ We have recovered from another successful final weekend at Millfield for the Age Group Regionals, with a strong turnout from the team:

•Florence Boughton – 200 Breaststroke
•Hugo Hibbert – 100 Fly
•Emilia Dempsey – 200 Free, 100 Free, 100 Back
•Eden Nield – 200 Free, 100 Breaststroke, 100 Free, 100 Back, 50 Fly, 400 IM
•Savannah Wright – 200 Free, 100 Back, 200 Breaststroke, 100 Breaststroke, 100 Free, 800m Free
•Tilly Hunton - 100m Free

A massive congratulations to everyone who qualified and competed.

⭐️Making it to Regionals is a huge achievement in itself, and you should all be very proud.⭐️

There were lots of highs, challenges and learning moments across the weekend, and what shone through was the resilience and passion from our CSWPC swimmers.
Throughout the weekend the swimmers put in excellent performances and were rewarded with a number of big personal bests.

Special mention goes to Savannah Wright:

•Qualified for two finals
•In the 100 Breaststroke, she went into the final ranked 7th and produced another PB to finish 2nd, narrowly missing gold by just 0.2 seconds and securing her first Regional medal

•In the 200 Breaststroke, she achieved a huge PB in the heats to go into the final as 2nd seed, then improved again with another PB in the final, finishing 4th, just outside the medals

An outstanding set of achievements; well done, Savannah!

Thank you to our awesome Team Manager Kerry who was a constant support for our swimmers over Regionals, and also our incredible coaches Dan, Rich and Karl for their support and encourgament over the events!

⭐️Another awesome weekend for our swim section ⭐️

We had club representation for the first time in the SE Para championship that was running in parallel with the SW regional event. Lance Fowler competed in the S14 category in both 200m FC and 50FC and put together two great swims that provide a solid foundation for years to come.

Also swimming this weekend was Charley Longland who broke through to the Youth Regionals this Bank Holiday Monday, competing in the 50m breaststroke. Travelling on his own, he showed real commitment and determination.

Seeded 19th in his age group, Charley had a big task ahead of him. He swam a great race, just missing out on a personal best but successfully holding his seed position. A fantastic performance that showed great spirit and resilience.

Well done Lance and Charley! 💪🏻
