Whilst She Can Studios didn't take home the award this year, I am so grateful to have been nominated and recognised as a finalist in the Wellbeing Specialist category alongside such fantastic businesses.

A huge congratulations to on being named the winner, and well done to every finalist for the passion, dedication and care you bring to the wellbeing of our local community.

To everyone who voted, supported, shared, attended classes and cheered She Can Studios on throughout the process, thank you. It means more than you know.

At She Can Studios, we don't move to punish our bodies. We move to support them...

Movement should be based on how your body is designed to move, not on chasing a certain look or fitting into someone else's idea of fitness. When we understand anatomy, we can build strength, confidence, mobility and longevity.

Looking good might be a bonus but FEELING good is the goal. 🤍

As we head into a new week, remember that movement doesn't have to be all or nothing. Small, consistent steps really do add up.

One of my favourite quotes..."Touching the skin is touching an extension of the brain."

When I offer hands-on guidance in class (always with your consent), it isn't about correcting you, it's about helping your body understand movement.

Many of the nerves that sit beneath our skin connect directly into the nervous system, helping create awareness, confidence and a stronger mind-body connection. Sometimes a gentle cue can help your body find a movement that words alone cannot.

Movement isn't just physical. It's neurological too. 🤍

This week, one of my clients lifted her leg independently for the first time in over 40 years...

To some people, that might seem like a very small thing but to her, it was huge.

This is why I do what I do and it's never about touching your toes, or the number of classes you attend. It's about helping people do the things they thought they'd never do again.

Some days your workout will feel amazing, and some days it won't. However, almost every single time, you'll leave feeling better than when you arrived.
