Fridays fill my cup with gratitude…🫶🏼✨

☕️ 😋

09/06/2026

Quiet moments can offer an important time for reflection. This will lay the foundation of knowing what is important to keep and what is essential to let go.

We are building our life journey on this foundation, and therefore creating space for reflection can help us understand our own emotional feelings and thought patterns.

This is not easy and a continuous personal journey of learning and changing but…if we allow ourselves to let go of holding onto unwanted baggage, the more freedom and joy we will experience.

{May has been a busy month and as a business I’ve been very grateful for the quiet moments to be able to fill my cup with ease and peace. I hope you’ve had the opportunity too!

Relax and enjoy 🙏🏼

Yoga Nidra is “Yogic sleep” and one hour of Yoga Nidra is said to equate to four hours sleep. Yoga Nidra encourages profound relaxation and effortlessness.

The term Yoga Nidra derives from two Sanskrit words, Yoga meaning union and Nidra meaning sleep. It’s a beautiful practice when one appears to be in a state of sleep, but the consciousness is working on a deeper level of awareness.

It’s a deep relaxation to harmonise the deeper unconscious and awaken inner potential to connect to a meditative state of being.

This systematic method of inducing complete mental, emotional and physical relaxation is suitable for all practitioners.

For a busy mind, Yoga Nidra enables to find stillness. It is a great way to bring calm, presence and peace for those who suffer from insomnia and those who are practicing on their mindfulness and awareness.

Are you feeling the strength of this year’s Fire Horse, the energy continuous moving forward and pulling back? It demands bold actions but at the same time it requires of you to pay gentle attention how to move forward in the right direction.

I’ve come to appreciate that changes come from challenging times; we grow and evolve building resilience to cope with life better. And wow life’s quite challenging for a lot of us at this moment in time, not only physically and mentally but emotionally, financially and socially too…

It’s really important to listen to our gut feeling, our gut instinct’s telling us the right thing to do and more often than not we tend to ignore this feeling. The gut is intimately connected with the solar plexus and in yoga practices we often refer this to the “Fire in the belly”. It’s where the Manipura Chakra resides, on the spinal column behind the navel just behind the belly button.

We can activate that area with movements, often twists postures, to create friction. It’s that friction we need in order to bring on the heat, and it’s the heat we build for our digestive organs to work healthily and also to strengthen our personal willpower. This willpower will cheer us on so we can pay attention to what’s important.

What we need is true desire and dedication wanting to grow and learn from our struggles and challenges so we can do the best we can in difficult circumstances and at the same time this will help us moving forward in the right direction.

Try not to linger but stay focused because there are many distractions in many different forms trying to pull us away from the path we’re traveling on…

Simply say to yourself “I see you, I know what you’re trying to do but thank you I’m on my way…” 😎

Nourishing and nurturing our mind and body, a reset for the nervous system, move with your breath…

Nourishing and nurturing our mind and body, a reset for the nervous system, move with your breath…

A deeply nourishing hour that focuses on reducing stress through a combination of stretching, and where a variety of different calming breathing techniques (pranayama) are used to deepen the effects of postures to help you unwind and decompress from work and daily life.

The practice is designed to nourish and calm the nervous system through slow, conscious breathing and gentle and accessible movement because every physical transition is initiated and guided by the breath.

This class is ideal for beginners, and anyone who is seeking connection to restore balance of peace and calm in mind and body.
