We’re baaaaaaack! We’re so pleased to announce following the ETA guidelines *Pitch up and play* Touch is starting back up again on Monday 17th with certain limitations on numbers (40, initially) and interaction.

You will be required to sanitise your hands before, during (every 15 minutes) and after the session. We will also antibac the (rugby) balls between games. (Please feel free to bring your own hand sanitiser). Please also adhere to social distancing as much as possible.

If you want to attend you must complete the form below. Spaces will be allocated on a first come first served basis, save that priority will be given for anyone who volunteers to ref.

We will confirm your space by email over the weekend *(check your junk mail)* You will also be allocated a team and asked to wear a particular colour shirt (we can’t provide bibs because of contamination concerns).

*If you book a space but cannot attend, please let us know ASAP so someone can have your space.*

Hopefully self explanatory. Please remember this is all new to us and there are likely to be teething issues.

We are all volunteers and doing the best we can to get you all playing touch again!

*PITCH UP AND PLAY CANCELLED*

Unfortunately, we have decided to cancel tonight. Given the government’s advice that all ‘non-essential social contact’ should be avoided, and exercise should be undertaken ‘at a safe distance from others’ we must take that advice on board and follow it.

Whilst we are all fit individuals, and are (hopefully) unlikely to be drastically affected by the coronavirus, we have a social responsibility to limit the spread of the virus to protect the most vulnerable in society as well as our precious NHS.

We really hope you understand that this has been a very difficult decision to make.

If in the coming days, the advice changes, or the RFU confirms that training can continue, we will let you know.

Great (if a bit muddy!) first England Touch tournament this weekend at Wasps FC! 🐝

Our men went from strength to strength throughout the day winning all their games until the Cup Semi final 💪🏼 our women faced a tough pool but learnt lots and are looking forward to pushing on at the next MW Emerging.

So good to showcase our Men’s and Women’s talent and partner up with some of the other fantastic clubs in the South West!
