First BYU ☑️

For context, we’re now 44 hours later. I’m sore & tired, and there are STILL 4 athletes running.

This weekend just emphasised the importance of being in rooms with inspiring people.

Self-belief is a weird one… it doesn’t come easily to most of us. It certainly didn’t to me.

I have lots of conversations with people that talk themselves out of the marines before they’ve even started.

I had absolutely nothing special about me. Zero notable athletic ability. Very average performance at school. No real life experience.

Joining the marines was the only thing I saw myself doing. There was doubt there. But I had to see what happened.

Fast forward 9 months from this photo and I was one of 17 people still standing at the end of training.

I had a strong why… That was the difference.
