WeHate Hills

WeHate Hills We Hate Hills & Wind are a charity cycling team consisting mainly of Middle Aged Men in Lycra (MAMIL). After around 18 years, we are closing down.

Permanently closed.

Heading towards having raised almost £300,000 raised for various charities since we began Its been fun, we have had fame & made fortunes for charities

Thanks to everyone for their support

We Hate Hills & Wind are not a club or a formal team, just a bunch of blokes who are enjoying getting out at the weekend to try to stay a bit fit, get some fresh air & some fun, followed by brekkie!! BUT we do

hate hills & wind when cycling !! After 15 years of challenges where we have cycled over 36,000 miles raising around £300,000 for Charity

Joining the team is by invitation only. This may seem cliquey but has previously ensured that we aren't & that there is good banter within the team. There are no heroes, no racing, an ethos of sticking together for safety and practical reasons when we ride. PLUS you must be able to give take & enjoy plenty of banter. We are not a cycling team, we were once described as a social team who does a bit of cycling, which is a pretty good description. So if you want to race. sadly we are not for you.
