Special shout-outs to Rachel Anderson and Sarah , whose commitment to representing their nation earned them DOUBLE challenge points! 🔥🇲🇦

Meanwhile, .deat Katy and Haytham all picked up Team Spirit Bonus Points for their enthusiasm and support throughout the week. 🙌

But Week 2 could look very different…

With many of our Youth Team athletes returning from birthdays, residential trips and other commitments, expect some big scores from 🇪🇸 Spain, 🏴 England, 🇫🇷 France and 🇧🇷 Brazil.

Brazil also welcomes back the one and only Social Suzanne Worpole , while Morocco gains a boost with Chris Church - Camera Operator returning from Ascot. 👀

Three weeks remain, and everything is still to play for. Who’ll be top of the table next Sunday? 🏆🌍

For the next 4 weeks, The Athletes’ Club is going international!

We’ve got:
🏃 30 adult participants
🌟 12 youth participants
👶🏽 20 baby participants

…all representing one of 10 nations and battling it out to earn points for their team!

This is what community fitness is all about: having fun, supporting each other, getting active, and making a difference along the way.

🖤💛 TOURNAMENT DAY 💛🖤

Today we took on a tough field at the Infinity Tournament, competing against some incredibly talented teams, many of whom have played together for years.

After facing five strong opponents, our girls secured an impressive 🥉 3rd place finish!

Jess and Niamh formed a fantastic defensive partnership, putting their bodies on the line and protecting the goal with determination. Their willingness to listen, learn and apply feedback before each game was evident throughout the day.

Through the mid-court, the girls worked tirelessly to win interceptions, create turnovers and transition the ball forward with confidence and purpose.

In the attacking third, Bea never stopped working, providing excellent feeds into the circle, supporting whichever GS took to the court, and battling hard for every rebound.

What made today special wasn’t just the result—it was seeing how far this team has come. Three months ago, some of these victories may have seemed out of reach. Today, they proved that growth happens through the challenges, and that success is built on resilience, hard work and belief.

Winners aren’t defined by never losing; they’re defined by what they learn along the way. Today was a huge step forward and a positive sign of exciting things to come. 🦅

Every single player played their part, and honestly, they all deserved Player of the Tournament today.

📈 Progress isn’t always obvious week-to-week, but over time the results speak for themselves.

Over just 7 weeks, our athletes have improved their sprint times, increased throwing distances, developed endurance and built confidence in their abilities.

We’re incredibly proud of every athlete for their effort, attitude and commitment to training, and support for each other!!

If you’re sitting quietly in the background - this is a great time to come and trial and get involved in our wonderful fitness community!

🏆⚽ THE ATHLETES’ CLUB WORLD CUP ⚽🏆

This June/July we’re doing something a little different…

Members will be representing a nation in our first-ever Athletes’ Club World Cup!

Over the month members will earn points for:

✅ Attendance
✅ Weekly challenges
✅ Team spirit
✅ Wearing their team colours

We’ve balanced the teams carefully across the whole Club to keep things fair and competitive, so every nation has a chance of lifting the trophy!

As part of the event we’re also asking everyone taking part to make a minimum £5 donation. At the end of the month, all proceeds will be donated to the charity chosen by the winning nation.

This isn’t about football knowledge—it’s about community, fitness, fun and supporting a great cause.
