Hi everyone! 👋

Just a quick message to let you know that there will be no training this week.
The council have inspected the pitches and, unfortunately, due to the recent dry weather, the condition of the pitches has deteriorated quite badly, with lots of cracks. For safety reasons, the council have said that no training or games can take place on the pitches at the moment.
They are reviewing the pitches every week (not sure what day), so as soon as we get the
go-ahead that they’re safe to use again, we’ll be back up and running! 🏉
We’ll keep everyone updated as soon as we hear anything.
(Keep an eye on your team WhatsApp’s and information group if you are a current member 🔴🤘🏻⚫️)

WOODBURN COLTS TEAM LAUNCHED

Our Woodburn Colts Under 17/18 team for the 2026/27 season will be a combined side with players representing South Woodham Ferrers and Burnham Rugby Clubs.

The Woodburn Colts will be for players in Year 12 and Year 13, with training and matches to alternate between South Woodham and Burnham.

Games will take place on Sundays, with training on Wednesday evenings and Sundays without a match.

The Woodburn Colts will be coached by experienced rugby coaches, with the support of the Burnham Senior coaches and players on occasion.

Rugby values last a lifetime - choose to get involved and find out.

AGM TONIGHT

Our Annual General Meeting will be held tonight (June 24) from 8pm at our Saltcoats Park Clubhouse.

The AGM will conclude our 2025/26 season but will also give the opportunity to join our Committee for 2026/27 and beyond.

All members are welcome - and this is your chance to shape the future of South Woodham Ferrers RFC.
