Reminder! I’ll be closing the studio for half term next week, but will be back ready to coach on 3/11.
I’ve had a stinking, snot fest of a cold this week, so have had to avoid all in-person training. I was also in a nice groove with my own training, but have learnt over the years that training with a cold doesn’t do me much good at all.
Instead, I’ve been focusing on mindful, The Iceman (Wim Hof) breathing techniques and gentle stretching, followed by cold showers.
It’s always hard to know whether the stuff you’re doing is helping, or whether you would have just gotten over the cold anyway, but it’s been a mental boost to know that I’m keeping my lungs strong and building resilience.
