Great Baddow Lawn Tennis Club was founded in 1902 in Galleywood Road, Great Baddow. It moved to its present site in Ladywell Lane in 1966, where it has established itself as one of the foremost tennis clubs in Essex. Set in quiet and picturesque surroundings, and easily accessible from Chelmsford and the main A12 trunk-road, Great Baddow Lawn Tennis Club offers year-round tennis on 6 all-weather artificial grass courts, all equipped with the latest in flood-light technology allowing play until 10.15pm every evening. The Club also boasts excellent facilities, including a well appointed club house with a licensed bar, kitchen, and changing rooms with showers.
