Chelmsford Golf Club Ltd Chelmsford is one of the oldest, traditional, private members’ club in the county. A beautiful parkland course, designed by James Braid and Harry C**t.

Chelmsford Golf Club is one of the oldest traditional, private members' clubs in the county having celebrated our club centenary in 1993. From modest beginnings, this gem of a parkland course is now recognised as one of the best in the County of Essex and is a 'must' for the discerning golfer. Situated very close to the A414 and within 12 miles of the M25 Chelmsford Golf Club is highly accessible.

The established parkland course measures 5996 yards-par 68-and is always in excellent condition and provides a challenging and enjoyable test for golfers of all abilities. We offer a warm welcome to visitors, golf societies and corporate days.

Pleased to advise we will open the 4th Tee this Friday for the Easter Weekend Comps. We will be back on the mats Tuesday - Friday for some maintenance and then open from the 26th. Some further good news, the 17th Tee is coming along ahead of schedule and AGW we should have this Tee open for the May Medal. A big well done to the greens team. Pete

The closing date for entry to the Summer Knockout Competitions is Friday 14th March, if you would like to enter one or more of the competitions, please go to the competitions section on the CGC website.

The Knockouts start on Monday 17th March and we encourage all players involved to try and play matches at the earliest date available especially if the weather is being kind to us!
