The theatre's staff introduce, develop and sustain an interest in dance as a performing art and physical form of recreation. Whether you want to study dance as a GCSE, A-Level or ISTD Examinations, pursue a desire to perform on stage within the specialist Performing Groups or take part in recreational activities and classes, the Essex Dance Theatre delivers a range of services to the community with qualified staff on hand to help you reach your potential.

Safer Internet Day 2026 💻

Safer Internet Day is today and is a useful moment to pause and think about how young people experience life online. What happens on the internet does not stay online and can have a real impact on wellbeing, relationships and everyday life.

At Essex Youth Service, we support young people to talk about their online experiences, build confidence and feel safe asking questions in trusted spaces. Through our digital youth work offer, young people can access youth workers in moderated online environments designed to be welcoming and supportive.
