Dance Projection Teacher Training

Dance Projection Teacher Training Part-time teacher training covering all units of the qualification. The ISTD are one of the world’s leading dance teacher training and dance examination boards.

Whether you're a student just starting out, an advanced dance teacher with years experience or a professional dancer looking for a change of career, this could be the course for you. The qualification is a Level 4 Diploma in Dance Education (DDE). This qualification will allow you to teach and enter students in grades ranging from Primary to Intermediate in the ISTD Syllabus. COURSE STRUCTURE
The

DDE Teacher Training course is split into 5 units which are offered over an intensive short period of time and includes some distance learning. We strongly advise students to have completed unit 3, their Intermediate Dance Examination in their chose genre before starting the other units of the course. If you haven’t got this level we can tutor Intermediate also. There will be set dates for written units arranged with student & tutor (1, 2 and 5). Each practical genre (Unit 4) will be run in term time with weekly classes. The length of the course will depend on previous experience and level of technical performance in their chosen genre. Suitable for teachers training for Vocational Exams, DDE, Licentiate and Fellowship or just wanting to ‘dance for yourself’ once a week!
In Studio and Online sessions 1 to 1 also available to book. Courses can be tailored to individual requirements.

Weekly live in studio classes
Advanced 2 Ballet Wednesdays 10am – 11.30am
Advanced 1 Ballet Thursdays 10am – 11.15am
Intermediate Ballet Thursdays 11.30am – 12.45am
ICB Licentiate Thursdays 1pm – 2.30pm
All classes payable in half term block
First half term dates 16th September – 25th October (6 weeks)

Hi All

I’m looking for fun, enthusiastic & reliable teachers to run after school Dance Clubs at primary schools in Chelmsford & Braintree. Applicants must have an enhanced DBS & first aid certificate (or willing to get).

Current positions are as follows:

Wednesday 3-4pm Chelmsford

Wednesday 3.30-4.30pm Chelmsford

Thursday 3.15-4.15 Braintree

£40 per hour class (min)

Would suit someone who teaches in the evening but could tag this on to the beginning of their night.
