Bring your energy and dance the night away with us at **The Black Bull**! Whether you are taking your very first steps or have been dancing for years, everyone is welcome—no partner, experience, or specific style required.

Let's start with one of the main 'building blocks' of Casino style - La Guapea 🎶

How the Step Works:

Counts 1–3: Dancers typically close or transition, often starting with a small tap or side step depending on the variation.

Count 4: A brief pause or tap.

Counts 5–7: Both partners step backwards away from each other (or push off with a light hand-to-hand touch/high five on count 5), then return back together on the subsequent beats.

Count 8: A pause or weight transfer before the next basic sequence

After you work out the footwork, styling and more body movement is due to come into play :)

There is no Rueda without guapea, but it is easily learned 'on the go'. So if you see a rueda at a social, don't feel discouraged to jump in and try 😉

The face behind the classes 😊

My name is Denitsa (or Denny) and I am IDTA qualified dance teacher. I have been dancing all my life pretty much - ballet, modern and jazz dancing, free style and social Latino dancing (salsa, merengue, bachata). Back in 2013 I have spent a whole summer travelling and living with local people in Cuba and ever since the music, the movement and their rich culture took a big place in my heart ❤️ 🇨🇺 I have been teaching classes and workshops on different festivals and events around Europe.

I am also a qualified Early Years practitioner and a Baby Room leader here in UK - my home for the past 10 years. Taking care of children from birth till the age of 5 within different settings have taught me a lot and I always treat every single one of my babies as my own 😊

I am very excited to start teaching again and to spent some fun time with new people!

Looking forward to meet you at the following venues from 12th November 2025

💟 Mace Playce, Chelmsford - every Wednesday from 11 am for Baila Bebe Mummy and Baby Latino Dance classes 😍 (suitable for pregnant ladies and mums of non-walkers)

💟 The Brewhouse, Chelmsford - every Wednesday evening from 7 pm for social Bachata classes - with my partner in crime Kiko and our friends from Slasa Serpiente
