Unfortunately we have had to make the decision to cancel Foma for 2025. This was not an easy decision, and we all appreciate the support of all involved.
It is a huge endeavour to put on at a significant investment to make it happen with no financial reward at the end.
We do it because we love the martial arts in all its flavours.
Sorry to anyone disappointed at the news.

Johnny Cash said “always be a good boy, don’t ever play with guns”.
We disagree, and to prove it Lock’n’ Load will be with us at the festival bringing an array of weapons and a shooting range to try them out.
Kids of all ages big and small are welcome 😁😁

Lots of people has been asking about the Festival of Martial Arts. Well, I am in talks at the moment with a fantastic venue that will make this event absof@ckinlutly amazing in 2025.

‼️We are very sorry to announce that we have had to take the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Festival of Martial Arts.
Due to ongoing red tape and logistical issues it has been agreed that we should draw a line under it and focus on making the 2025 event a huge success.
We will of course refund in full all tickets purchased, and apologise for the inconvenience caused.
We appreciate this is a big disappointment and a lot of people were looking forward to the event, and we cannot express our gratitude for the support and positivity the event has generated.
We will be back in 2025!

The ethos of Festival of Martial arts is to celebrate the rich diversity within our arts with a fantastic festival vibe that is a completely immersive weekend of friendship and learning.
We also try to bring something different to the event.

Yesterday I had a chat with a guest instructor who is yet to be announced.
He is a former para and police officer who has travelled the world working in various security roles. He has trained with some of the best and taught law enforcement in the US.
He is still actively involved in security and close protection at a high level.
He will be showcasing his knowledge at this years FOMA and will be one you won't want to miss.
