Still not at the time I’m aiming for, but getting closer too it now. Feel like I’m getting my spark back now after a fair few months of having lost it.

It’s now time to keep to routine, get some serious training done for whatever comes next 👀

It was also great yesterday to watch Jon & Seb smash their first race yesterday & also watching Abb get back out onto the dance floor after giving birth in December. And even better that both my boys got to watch me race 🩵

Sub 70 mins I’m coming for you…

London Marathon Day so throwback to 2 years ago when I was lucky enough to get in on the ballot & run my first marathon 🏃 🥇

Good luck to anyone running today, soak up the atmosphere and enjoy!

And if anyone feels inspired today to get into running, remember you don’t have to decide or commit to crazy distances and races when you start running. Some people don’t want to run halves, full or ultra marathons and that’s perfectly fine and normal! Running is running’s regardless of the distance.

And if you’re a social butterfly like me, feel free to drop me a message if you ever want company on a run. I’m always up for a good natter and a trot 🏃

Client of the quarter 🎉

Our first client of the quarter this year is Luke

At Warrior we wanted to celebrate our clients and give something back to them but didn’t want this to be rewarded on ‘effort’. We believe everyone turns up and gives their absolute all, achieves something all the time and some people are overcoming stuff in private. We didn’t want to diminish anyone’s efforts and so now, any client for that quarter will be added into a random draw and will win a prize.

This quarters prize was a free 1-2-1 PT session which Luke got booked in for this week. Luke has been a in person PT client for a long time now and his progress has been incredible to watch.

Well done Luke and keep your eyes peeled next quarter for our next winner and prize 👀 🏆

WARRIOR ROX 🏃‍♂️

Warrior Rox is our class designed for anyone looking to compete in Hyrox or give their first race a try, but is also suitable for anyone who just loves a hybrid style session.

This isn’t just a race simulation or a cardio blast to get you sweaty. Each week is varied and will work on strength for the stations and building your engine for the runs. Working on form and technique , making sure for those who are looking to compete are confident on race day.

But even if you aren’t interested in Hyrox itself, you will walk away from this class feeling like a true Hybrid athlete 🏃

Fridays at 6am to end the working week on an endorphin high

Sad Lads Lift & Chat 🧠 🖤🧡

Sad Lads will now be moving to SUNDAYS at 7PM. Thank you & respect to all of the gents who have popped in for a chat since I started this and I always want to have this available, especially now in the time of year we are in.

But if you are new here, what is Sad Lads? 👇

I will never want to forget the core reason why I started Warrior. To help show that movement helps improve not only physical but your mental health and wellbeing.

Men are three times more likely than women to commit su***de.

40% of men have never spoken to anyone about their mental health or their feelings.

So every single Sunday night from 7pm I will be sat in my private fitness studio, Warrior HQ for the ‘Sad Lads Lift & Chat’. Any lads out there who are struggling at the minute, just want to talk to someone or too vent this will be an open, safe space for us all to get together and just TALK 🗣️

It’s not a counselling or therapy session (I am not qualified nor do I pretend to be a professional in this area), just a supportive group for men to get together, talk, get rid of the stigma and for us all to realise we aren’t alone in our feelings.

I completely get that just talking to someone can feel incredibly hard, hence why you can just turn up and ask myself about fitness advice or exercise advice or have a go of some of the equipment. And then before you know it, you may have not even realised you have then managed to get something off your chest you needed too without realising.

There is no commitment to turn up, but just drop me a message ahead of 7pm every Sunday.
