Bruntwood Park BMX Club is the newest club in the North Region, forming in 2014 with the renovation of the track in Cheadle. Run by passionate volunteers, our aims are to encourage participation in and enjoyment of BMX. We’re an inclusive club aimed at riders of all ages and abilities. Affiliated to British Cycling, the governing body of cycle racing in the UK and a proud part of the North BMX Region, we run coaching and training sessions and other club events.

Track closure - Sat 19th & Sun 20th September

*CLUB SESSIONS ON SATURDAY WILL STILL GO AHEAD*

Please be aware that the track will be closed this weekend for essential track maintenance work on Saturday.

The track will remain closed on Sunday to allow the new surface to bed in and settle, ensuring it's safe and enjoyable to ride for all through the winter.

Thanks for your cooperation.

North Club Champs 2026 πŸ’₯

Looking back at a fine Sunday for the North Region Club Champs.

The Green Army capped off a great season, taking 52 riders up the M62 acquitting themselves brilliantly, riders at every level once again seeing great progress.

A big thanks to all the North Region team for there efforts in 2026, to the team at Preston for a great day and to all who our supporters, parents and riders for making 2026 a season to remember.

Ben Holt - UK BMX Coach was delighted to finally get to dish this award out to a very deserving young rider!

Wilf has been a big improver this year, working so hard on and off the track. That’s paid off and he’s been a regular in the QFs Nationally all season. He shows a great attitude and that will allow him to build again off a strong foundation into 2027 πŸ’₯

62 riders. Our biggest ever British Championships entry. And one incredible weekend for the Green Army. πŸ’š

What a way to cap off a fantastic 2026 regional season.

For us, the weekend was about far more than results. Every rider arrived with their own ambitions, challenges and definition of success, we couldn’t be prouder of what they achieved.

We had so many Brits debutants, including first-year regional racers taking the huge step of competing at their first British Championships.

For some, getting on that start hill was the achievement. For others, it was making it through the motos, reaching the knockouts, quarters or semis, improving on previous results or simply putting together their best racing.

And at the sharp end, we had riders making British Championship finals and standing on the podium.

Whatever the goal, there were achievements everywhere.

That’s what we want Bruntwood to be about. Every rider is equal and everyone’s goals in BMX are different. Our job as a club is to provide the opportunity, coaching and support to help riders achieve them.

And this weekend, we saw plenty of that.

πŸ’š ONE CLUB

A huge thank you to every parent, carer, family member and supporter who travelled, carried kit, stood trackside, calmed nerves, celebrated the highs and helped riders through the tougher moments.

Thank you also to our coaches, particularly Ben and Ellis, who were there across both days watching, supporting and encouraging our riders.

The support around the track all weekend was fantastic and seeing the Green Army together at the biggest domestic event of the year made us incredibly proud.

A special mention to Manchester BMX Club for delivering a brilliant British Championships despite everything the British weather threw at them.

A big thank you too to the commissaires, officials and volunteers who gave up their weekend to make the racing possible.

And, of course, the unofficial after-party mudslide certainly seemed to be a hit with a few of our riders! πŸ˜‚

Another brilliant day of racing and two more British Championship finalists for Bruntwood Park BMX Club! πŸ’š

πŸ₯‰ Leo Rowlands – Male 13 – 3rd
What a final! Leo came through a chaotic Male 13 race, twice looking to make the move from 2nd into the lead through the opening two corners. He didn't make them stick, but Leo kept battling and came home with another fantastic result – 3rd in Britain and another British Championship podium!

πŸ”₯ Chay Young – 19–29 Male – 4th
A brilliant ride from Chay in a seriously competitive final. He battled hard through the first corner, put himself in a great position and finished strongly to take 4th, just missing out on the podium. Fantastic racing!

πŸ’š And that brings an incredible Brits weekend to a close for Bruntwood Park BMX Club.

A huge well done to every rider who pulled on the North jersey and represented the club across the weekend. From first-time Brits riders to experienced national racers, there was plenty for the whole club to be proud of.
