Thorn Grove Bowling Club Thorngrove, which has been in existence since 1933, is a friendly and welcoming bowling club . The season runs from mid-March to mid-October.

Our season runs in daylight hours from mid-March to mid-October
Members have their own access to the superb green for practice & own games It is situated on Thorn Grove itself , opposite the Recreation ground and has its own substantial car park. The beautiful and peaceful setting is a lovely place to bowl and the Green is recognised as being one of the best in the area. Our members enjoy weekly social bowling as well as partaking in local leagues with Ladies, Gents,Mixed and Veterans teams. Members also have personal access to the Green so they can practice and arrange their own games outside of competition times.

The list has gone up on the Notice Board for anyone to nominate themselves for positions in the Club. Please consider this carefully as without volunteers the Club cannot run successfully. A Lady Captain will be needed as due to personal matters Stephanie cannot keep this role next year. The Club needs a Lady Captain. Anyone who volunteers will have lots of support/help from Steph and many others.

Saturday 5th September is the N Black Shield Competition for the ladies, open to all players, social or team players can enter. Please put your name on the list if you fancy giving it a go. 11am start, please be there no later than 10.45 or earlier if your name is not down. Bring lunch and £2. Fun day.
