Club record: 14.21s (3rd May 2025) Cambridgeshire Flyball was the first competitively registered flyball club in Cambridgeshire. We strive to do the best we can by our dogs whilst having lots of fun! We are currently racing 5/6 open teams and have got many young dogs in training. Our fastest ever recorded time

The other incredible people that need a massive thank you are the guys Project 13 Flyball ... they not only sponsor our team but they stepped up to sponsor a ring at the FOWC 2026 and worked hard as crew to run the event, alongside being part of our racing team.

When our box had a slight lack of confidence on the world stage for our first final, you couldn't blink faster than Rik appeared in the ring! Mat arrived seconds later, having handed his dog to a team-mate, and together they helped the box overcome it's centre stage fears (aka they tweaked the triggers) and we were on our way for some nail-biting racing inside minutes.

Mat & Rik are constantly pushing the limits of flyball and we love supporting their ideas... I wonder where they will go next!? Thanks guys!!!

It's been just over a week since the most amazing event we have ever been involved in... and we might be starting to recover (maybe.... maybe not, if we are honest!).

However, in all the excitement, planning and the post-event comedown, we absolutely must remember to say a thank you to some incredible people who helped support us, and our team, beyond anything we could have asked for.

Emma Overend regularly helps keep our dogs in tip-top condition but for the FOWC 2026 she went another step and came to the event to be at our dog's beck and call for the 3 days. And OMG, were we and they grateful! She helped with their warm-ups and cool-downs and made sure they all got a nice long massage after racing on Sat to be fresh and ready for it Sunday. She also was the first person on the scene to check Storm over as his foot went UNDER the mats. Luckily he was absolutely fine and her confirmation enabled su to get our heads back in the game and to seal that DIV 2 final.

Thank you for everything you've done for us before, during and after this event Emma, we are extremely grateful ❤

WHAT. A. WEEKEND. 😱

The 2026 Flyball Open World Cup (FOWC 2026) was out of this world! As a team our hopes and hearts were set on making the championship division but it was not to be. Winning our group on Saturday was great but unfortunately we didn’t set a fast enough time… being the 13th fastest winner we entered div 2 for Sunday. And what a division that was. We ended up as seed 7 (of 10) on a 15.03… with 6 teams seeded above us all on sub-15 times!!!!

The racing in division 2 was out of this world. Fast, furious and exhilarating. Our first couple of races were fairly straightforward… tight and competitive, just how we like it! And then Kylo did his dew claw AGAIN!!! So we were down our experienced height dog until Dice stepped up to the plate. As a baby, this was his first big event and boy did he nail it!

We carried on racing with some of the tightest racing we’ve had in a long time, including a tie, ending up in the div 2 final without having lost a life. Our finals race against Flyvaryors was nail biting with them winning causing a re-final. The re-final was equally nail biting but we just managed to take the win, making us Division 2 champions and 13th (out of 75) in the world.

As their team captain I am incredibly proud of how the team worked together and raced like the demons they are… all whilst hosting the worlds biggest Flyball event of the year!

Well done Cambridgeshire Canines, 13th place at FOWC 2026… now, let’s get our plans started for 2028 (and NO, we are not hosting it!)

As one teeny tiny comp ends our next event goes live on the UK Flyball League website.... TOMORROW NIGHT!

On Sunday 5th July we will be hosting one of our fun events at the barn... aimed at your baby dogs, we will be offering Little League Singles & Pairs, alongside Pre Cadet space and some open singles/pairs. Hopefully it'll be a good trial run for some ahead of the UKFL Champs.

Four years ago we attended our first ever Flyball Open World Cup as part of the TeamGB Flyball team. We fell in love with the event and vowed to one day host it ourselves.

Two years ago we approached the FCI with our official bid which was granted in November 2024. The following 18 months have changed our lives.

Fast forward and now we are finishing the final breakdown of our very own version - FOWC 2026. Was it perfect, of course it wasn’t. But it felt pretty good.

Well done to this bunch of people for all your hard work and dedication throughout the event.

Hello from the 2026 Flyball Open World Cup (FOWC 2026), hosted by…. US!

Wow, what can we say!? The months and months of planning, meetings, talking etc have finally boiled down to this. A world class event hosted right here in the UK 🇬🇧

Everything is nearly ready and tomorrow our team have their vet checks and ring time in preparation of racing on Saturday/Sunday (alongside hosting!) before we officially open the event in the evening (watch this space for more important news about that!)

We are super grateful to all the helpers that have pitched in to help, in any way… especially our good friends at Barking 4 Balls!!!
