It feel like it’s been forever since we took a full team contingent to a comp (and it truly is cos it was back in May, before the FOWC)! This weekend we are back with new lineups, a ton of young dogs and new members as we head to Newark hosted by Junkyard Dogs.

We are aiming to see how things go and work on integrating new dogs but we are secretly hoping for some new team records…. Watch this space ❤️🖤

Today we took some of our Border Collies over to Claygates Sheepdogs to see how well their instinct kicked in. What a fantastic afternoon. Thank you Caitlin for your support of us and our dogs, we are super proud of them all.

Day 2 of Paw Camp and we had a day of racing! And be that H2H singles or working on team lineups, we nailed it!

Our day ended with some more time with our foundation dogs and some INCREDIBLE advancements for a couple of dogs… our future is looking bright!

Roll on day 3… what else can we do!?

Day 1 of paw camp and what a day we’ve had…. A morning dedicated to our younger dogs followed by an afternoon of new team chats and club target setting…. Alongside some power jumping for all dogs. We rounded off the day with a fab F&C supper and some club chat for 2027 - we have a lot of plans for next year but NO, we are not hosting another FOWC 😉

Two comps in the space of two weeks... we must be mad! But when we agreed to host at Crufts Flyball qualifier it seemed sensible to only set the ring up once, so we thought we'd bring you one of our ever popular fun events for your young dogs.

Offering LL Pairs/Singles, open pairs/singles and those gold-dust PC slots, entries for our mid-October event go live on Thursday.

We can't wait to see your young dogs develop over the winter and we love supporting you all to do that!

It's puppy time!!!! Please join us in welcoming our 4th puppy for 2026 to the team. Bred by the amazing Rosavelocita Sport Dogs kennel, this boy has an incredible flyball lineage behind him.

❤️ Neville is an F1 Border-Whippet from the Fly x Ambush (QUICKFIRE Performance Dogs) litter and will be Mark's first sports dog... a little bit different to his usual gundogs! He was literally "made to order" as Mark will only ever have black boys... thank you Fly! We are very excited to see how he devlops.

So that is puppy number 4... will we make our average of 5 this year? We shall see :)

With many of our dogs settling into racing we have actually been a bit thin on the ground for being able to celebrate new PBs this year. However, as our recent crop of baby dogs are starting to hit the lanes we can once again begin celebrating successes.

❤️ Pope recently debuted at the UK Flyball League championships in singles where he ran un-propped for the first time... and in doing so, bagged himself his first ever PB of 4.10s (winning his division in the process). We have high hopes that this boy will get faster as his confidence grows.

Our other team racing at EFC 2026 were the CRUSADERS. These guys were amazing. Six Cambs dogs that are primarily indoor racing dogs and all just switched to grass and did so well.

They had an almost perfect ST on Thursday which saw them run a nice time just 0.04s off their seed time and move up to division 15. We played with lineups, fixed any issues and felt well set up for the DE.

Saturday came and we felt ready. Our first race they ran a record for the team, taking over 0.2s off their ST time but with some random unusual scouts and racing a faster team they were beaten, so into the losers bracket we went.

Race 2 and it was operation “fix Cuba” in the warmups. After a good warm up we stuck to our planned lineup with an aim to run clean. Clean we ran but not fast enough so a last ditch effort saw us bring Cubas speed into play with a prayer that she wouldn’t spit. Unfortunately we were still too slow and out we went.

We are super proud of these dogs and how well they raced. The work they’ve done this year to develop as a team shone through. Just a shame that we raced fairly and didn’t have enough speed in the tank to beat the other teams.
