Sundays are for friendly matches and the Division One Development League team. Juniors from Under 10 softball through to ECB 2020 Under 19s are coached by our County award winning coaches. It wasn’t to be for our First XI, despite a hard-fought effort right until the very end. Sometimes, in sport, things simply don’t go your way.

But there is so much to be proud of across the club. The success of our 2nd, 3rd and 4th XIs, alongside our Colts section and the girls/ladies teams, is a fantastic reflection of the strength, depth and spirit within our club.

Despite the disappointment of Saturday’s result, our First XI showed real class, attending the end-of-season party with grace and dignity and proudly supporting the celebrations for our Fourth XI’s League Championship.

That’s what being part of a club is all about — supporting one another, celebrating each other’s success and standing together through the highs and lows.

We keep building, keep fighting and keep moving forward together.

Proud of our club. Proud of our people. Proud of what’s ahead.

It’s the final day of the league season and it’s all to play for.
Our first XI are fighting for their premier league status. Our second XI have a week off with a play off fixture in the near future.
The third XI are still aiming to secure promotion on the final day and our fourth XI take to the field as Champions today!!

Another spectacular Memorial Day, filled with laughter, cricket, and, of course, the Lordswood family! 💙

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the day so special. It was fantastic to see so many familiar faces, enjoy some great company, and celebrate together.

And, of course, we have to mention Lordswood RFC who once again got lucky and managed to defeat us at cricket! 🏏😂 We’ll let you have this one… for now!
