Over the years, Cornbury House Horse Trials has become known for much more than world-class eventing.

Throughout the week, our VIP Hospitality Marquee has also become a showcase for some of the country’s most talented and distinctive artists, bringing together sport, culture, countryside and creativity in a truly Cornbury way.

In 2023, we were proud to feature the work of Bunbury Equine Art, alongside the striking iris works of internationally acclaimed artist Marc Quinn.

In 2024, we welcomed the extraordinary work of Chris Levine, whose luminous and immersive style brought a completely new dimension to the space.

In 2025, we were delighted to showcase Jemma Powell, whose beautiful work captured the warmth, colour and character that makes Cornbury so special.

From equestrian art to contemporary portraiture and beyond, the VIP Marquee has become a place where guests can discover, pause, and become inspired.

Looking forward to finding out who will be featured in 2026?

There are now just three months to go until the 2026 edition of the Cornbury House Horse Trials. That might sound like plenty of time but we know that the weeks will absolutely fly by.

It’s now all systems go in the lead up to September, our team are pulling out all the stops to deliver another truly excellent event.

The eventing action at Cornbury include the National Championships for 5YOs, 6YOs and 7YOs, CCI2*-S and CCI3*-S including divisions for young riders, a brand new Advanced U25 class and, last but by no means least, the ARC Cornbury Racehorse to Eventer Challenge Cup.

All of that sporting prowess goes on alongside the most fantastic day out for family and friends here at Cornbury Park - excellent food, drink, shopping and so much more.

NEW ENTRY CONDITIONS FOR ARC RACEHORSE TO EVENTER CHALLENGE AT CORNBURY HOUSE HORSE TRIALS

After an exceptionally successful debut in 2025, we are pleased to announce updated conditions of entry for the £50,000 Arena Racing Company (ARC) Racehorse to Eventer Challenge 2026.

This innovative class was the brainchild of Dash Grange Stud owner Jayne McGivern and Cornbury House Horse Trials’ founder and president David Howden and supported by ARC, showcases the versatility and suitability of former racehorses for eventing.

Following a review of the first running of the class and consultation with stakeholders, the entry conditions have been slightly altered for 2026. The class will be restricted to horses which have *not* competed at Advanced or CCI4* level. They must also have raced or have been in training at a registered training yard; proof will be required of the latter.

Once again, the ARC Racehorse to Eventer Challenge Cup will be run at British Eventing Open Novice level, using an FEI CCI2*-S dressage test in a long arena and with the showjumping phase last and in reverse order on Saturday 12 September.

Horses must have achieved two Minimum Eligibility Requirements (MERs) at novice or above in the current season (2026 and by the point of entry). Riders will be restricted to two entries each.
