As part of Bowls England "Big Bowls Weekend 2023", Charing Bowls Club will be hosting an open event offering you the chance to give bowls a try and meet new people.
Bowls is a sport that is easy to take up but takes time and practice to master. It's very doable whatever your physical ability, relatively inexpensive and really sociable. Whatever happens there'll be lots of laughs and fun to be had along the way. All you need on the day is a pair of flat soled shoes/trainers as we will provide all the equipment needed.
The club is the perfect place to relax over a cup of tea or something a little stronger! Please feel free to send me a message for further information or have a look on our website.

We are a friendly club situated in the village of Charing, which lies at the foot of the North Downs between Maidstone and Ashford.

As of the 3rd of March JS Insight will no longer be operating the Sports Pavilion. Charing Playing Field would like to thank Jon and Sarah for all their efforts in the running of our clubhouse for the last two years and wish them the best for their future.

The Playing Fields will be taking this opportunity to re organise the clubhouse whilst continuing to make the club available to our sports teams for fixture hospitality. Revised opening hours will apply.
