EDIT.... ALL SORTED NOW 🙂👍

Morning all....
A bit of a favour to ask...
Has anyone got a 20" wheeled boys bike they can lend me for today?
Very short notice, but I was asked to supply 2 bikes to a holiday maker, but I've prepared a 24"....the wrong size!!

It's new windows week!
..so while Brendan is here, make me an offer on any of these bikes to save me shifting them from pillar to post.
As you know, all proceeds go to charity, so you'll not offend me by making a cheeky offer.
Now I've already done 3 scrap runs and got a bit cutthroat with clearing stuff, (for me) hopefully I can keep less "stuff" in the future.
I'll try my best, but it will always have that "working" shop look, never a boutique, but if it ever starts getting back to the way it is currently, have a word with me!!

Keep pedalling , and thanks for your continued business

Cheers, Andy 🚲

Second wave of the clear out, in readiness for new windows to be fitted.
I'll be posting up a few things for sale on here, that are too good to throw out, and not suitable to giving to another charity based shop in order to help them out.
These will include modern secondhand frames (mostly road) a few retro MTB framesets and a good few untidy classic steel frames, that I just can't bear to dump as they're probably upwards of 70 years old.
I've also got my original shop bike display racks (5 high) x2 that I used to have when I sold production bikes.
Most small parts will be given to another shop and stuff I've collected over 35 years will go to EMR.
Breaks my heart, but I can't keep hoarding equipment "just in case"
Anyone interested in frames etc, just message, or pop in, and make me an offer!!

New tyres from Kranx.
You might know the brand name from the pedals, lock on grips, lights and tools I sell.
Top quality and cheaper than the equivalent Schwalbe tyre, although these aren't puncture protected, just a good quality "standard" replacement tyre.
Both 26 and 27.5 tyres retail at a competitive £14 each.
29ers are £15.
Speaking of Schwalbe, and with it being great weather for road bikes, the ever popular Lugano II in 700 x 25 in stock.
Wire bead, puncture protected and in a variety of colours, including all black (not pictured)
£21.99 each.

Small delivery of Clarks products to replace the best sellers.
It always amazes me how affordable their equipment is, with disc adapters from £3 and rotors starting at £5, including fittings.
I sometimes wonder why people shop online, when the prices from the independent shops are so often lower.

As an independent shop I'm able to deal with the companies that sell decent kit.
While its affordable, I WON'T stock items that I wouldn't use myself.
With my 35th anniversary approaching, I am happy to have served the community for so long 🙂👍
Thanks for your continued support during these trying financial times.

Cheers, Andy

Just had a bike nicked from outside from the shop by two tall slim school lads and a girl in black uniforms.
Fortunately a customer accosted one lad and the girl managed to convince the other lad to bring the bike back.
Sickens me when people think it's OK to take what's not their's. The fact the lad thought it amusing was even worse.
I'm getting tired of grafting hard for little gain and then people think it's fine to steal my charity stuff.
It certainly wasn't the way I was brought up.
Rant over.
It's proper taken the edge of my day.
I'm maybe too sensitive for this job, but I take these things personally.

Just a quick post to say I'll not be in, and the shop will be closed next Friday 26th June.
I'm off on a jolly to Musgrove to have another PET-CT scan.
I have to go on a special diet beforehand and an 18 hour fast, so I might be grouchy on the Thursday as I like my food!!!
Anyhoooo.....thought I'd let you know, I'll not be about.
Thursday (25th) will be a normal trading day though.
Back on the following Tuesday as normal.

Keep pedalling!

Cheers for being so understanding, Andy
