What a great weekend for the PROMMAC Fight Team! This time, the team was split across two competitions: the Shobu Challenge and the The Fightwear Store UK Open 2026🇬🇧

Dexter, Jessica, Ivan, Hattie, Otis, and Ethan competed at the Shobu Challenge, while Jacob and Padraig represented the team at the The Fightwear Store UK Open 2026🇬🇧

There were some incredible fights and tough categories, but the team came away with a fantastic haul of medals!

WKU Scottish International Open 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Tough day for everyone against some strong competition!

A win for Derek in the Round of 16 put him into the last 8, where he went out to the eventual winner of the category after a strong performance.

Dan took 🥉 in his category, losing to a fighter from Belgium 🇧🇪 in the semi-finals.

Beth took 🥇 in her category! Even though she was feeling ill, she still stepped on the mat and got the win after some tough fights.

Jacob took 🥇🥇 in his points weight classes (-75kg & -80kg) and 🥈 in Continuous. He also won 🥈 in the Open Weight Grand Division after winning three fights and losing the fourth by just one point!

Our members have absolutely smashed it — from belt promotions 🟦⬛, to competitions 🏆, to showing real growth in confidence, discipline and skill both on and off the mats. We couldn’t be prouder of every student, young and old.
