We specialise in Clay Pigeon Shooting and holidays for those who wish to experience this unique and enjoyable sport. Located on the beautiful south coast of the Isle of Wight, we can offer a memorable and enjoyable time at our Shooting grounds. We cater for many types of people including corporate team building events, stag nights or hen experiences, those who wish to start Clay Pigeon Shooting or individuals that are looking to brush up their skills using our experienced coaches.

Remembering my Dad aka ‘Grumpy Old Bugger’ (on occasion, but never with me )!! and founder of Shepherds Chine Shooting Ground over 40 years ago. With what would have been his 85th Birthday. The ground was his world and he’s very much missed by many. Never missing a shoot and even in the last year of being here was always there ❤️

Looking for a clay pigeon trap operator. Every other Sunday Morning for approx 5 hours. Must have transport to get to Atherfield Bay. Must be physically able to operate a manuel trap which requires a certain amount of strength! Suit older teenager or just a countryside lover and looking to earn a bit of cash! Super proud Mum post! Like the rest of the Short Family, Tobias has really got into his Clay Pigeon Shooting lately. Yesterday he was kindly taken to Fareham Gun Club with the lovely Dave Morris and Sharon Morris, who have been so supportive and encouraging of Tobias loving the sport, their kindness has been overwhelming. He only goes and wins the ‘Colts’ class, bringing home his first medal😊

Grandpa the founder of Island Clay Breaks would be so proud. He got to see Tobias shoot at Shepherds Chine only a few times, but it’s where it all started ❤️
