A tricky week for both men’s teams, with a lot riding on this game for the 1sts in particular, to see whether they can stay in their current league. 2nds had some very close games and played well. Thank you to everyone who came along to support.

A tough week for the men’s 1sts who had a few tricky games but won two points. A great week for the Womens who absolutely smashed Gloucester!

🏸Match Highlights🏸

Women’s 1st - Diya played an impressive 3 end singles winning 27-29 in the third. Hannah and Anni played doubles with another 3 end win, with Anni only catching the shuttle once - very consistent.

Men’s 1st - The mens team made a good effort, despite the loss getting the best score against Cardiff 1st out of anyone in the league. Well done to Dom and Sam for winning their matches and getting the two points despite some tricky competition.

Women’s 1st 3-5 Swansea
Men’s 1st 4-4 Cardiff Met
Men’s 2nd 2-6 Cardiff

A tough week for everyone, with most games being very close and mens 1st almost beating Cardiff Met

Highlights of the matches:

Mens 1st - Mohit getting a point in his singles debut, and networking with the opposing team as well as training with them after, showing great sportsmanship

Mens 2nd - the Maccies trip, with Ole getting his 20 piece chicken nugget meal!

Womens 1st - Diya’s incredible 3 ender singles and an amazing cross court shot from Anni, who also caught the shuttle instead of hitting it
