These are a collection of bowling club badges that belonged to the Late Moira Macintosh of Newlands of Clans Farm a long time member of Cawdor bowling Club. They were gifted to the club by her son Donald. Billy Lowrie has done a great job in mounting them on a board for them to be displayed in the club house. The old Cawdor bowling club logo badge featuring the castle looks impressive.

Today was the final club competition of the year and what a fantastic day all round it was, the weather turned out great and the standard of bowling was first class with the more experienced bowlers being matched with the newer members to the club. There was a relaxed, friendly and a competitive atmosphere on the green all day.
The final was between Roy McConnachie and Susan Smith v Les Smith and Anne Neill, it went to an extra end where Roy and Susan were the worthy winners, congratulations to them both. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
We had the pleasure of having Reg Kings Daughter Jenny Smith along today to present the Salver to Roy and Susan. We were delighted to have you along today and enjoying the afternoon.

Thanks to Graham for doing a great job and getting everything done on a timely manner.

The green is still playing and looking great and thatโ€™s thanks to the greenkeeper Brian McWilliam.

It takes a huge amount to time and effort from lots of people working behind the scenes to make events like these a huge success from , baking, serving teas, setting up greens, preparing the greens, making ties, time keeping , umpires, organising the games, the list goes on and on.
Without these dedicated individuals events like this wouldnโ€™t be the success it is, thanks to you all ๐Ÿ‘

Enjoy the remainder of the season and look forward to seeing you all back again next year.
