Julie Vickerman our Club Leader is part of the group of 12 being followed in a weekly article in the World pickleball magazine . She’s made the front cover this week. If you have a large coffee and about 15 mins have a read ! Chris is a great writer and seems to really understand the 12!

4 members of Richmond and Wellfield pickleball club played at the Scottish Open. Great friendship, fun and fitness with Judith Roberts , Matt Hill and Kieron Pearce. Great for the club for judith and Matt to win silver in mixed!

4 of us team mates had a great 3 days in Edinburgh ( staying in Dunbar by the sea) at the Scottish Open with Matt Hill and Judith Roberts playing brilliantly to take the silver in the mixed ( 60 plus 3-3.5). All the drills and coaching from club coach Kieron Pearce and last minute session with England coach Rob Williams paying off! Matt and Kieron got to the quarters in the men’s as well.

Well done to all who represented the club in the Viking league today, many great games. It’s fantastic to have so many representing our club! Many went to Stack afterwards and had a celebratory drink and a few made it to skimming stones on the beach! Good fun!

Well done to the box winners of our Friday night competition, namely Dave Wray, Judith Robert’s and Fiona Raymond and to Fiona who won overall on points.
