Buggy Fit is back next Wednesday the 9th of Jan. 👩‍👧‍👧

The class itself is made up of cardio, strength, mobility and stretching exercises to target different elements of fitness.

However the class isn’t just about the exercise, it is a great way to get out the house and meet like minded people. 🌳

The format is set in a circuit style class, with different options given. So if you had a sleepless night, the night before or if you got 8 hours straight you can choose the intensity you want to work at. 💪

Don’t have a buggy that’s fine! You are more then welcome to join. This class is open for all.

With my pelvic floor prolapse and recovering from covid, the thoughts were there to put of the run to another day.
However thanks to the podcast I watched with those thoughts were silenced out with the thought ‘I just need to get out there’

I didn’t set a distance just a small time target of 25 minutes. I didn’t run the full time, I mixed it up with walking and I did feel like a rusty old car that’s been sat in a garage for a long time.

But I done it, managed to do 2.83km. Getting out cleared my sinuses which is a massive bonus and lungs after being ill, and I didn’t need to p*e. I am going to monitor my pelvic floor the next 2 days to see how it is, but on the actual run it caused me no problems.

Happy I turned one day, into day one. Can tick that task of my list and the fear of getting started has gone.

It is that time of the celebration's where nobody knows what day it is, as we wonder if we could possibly eat another thing. Well the diet is starting in the new year, so you have to finish off that last mince pie right?

So many of us see exercise as a tool to lose weight or improve how we look, but it’s so much more.

Exercise is the most underused method when it comes to improving our health by managing and preventing chronic illnesses many of us deal with or will get at some point in our lives.

I believe a big reason for this is the way exercise is marketed by the big corporate companies and media, it’s no wonder people feel intimidated and this needs to change and my mission is to be a part of this change.

Brand new class tomorrow night. 1 space left.

Come and join us for our Small group personal training session tomorrow night 19.30 down at the Fit Fun active studios.

The workout will be designed to your own personal goals and abilities but the community element of a group exercise class is still alive.

The studio is a private personal training studio, so perfect for those who don’t like a busy gym, but want to learn the elements of strength training.

There is no avoiding it strength training is great for weight loss, building strength and giving you that “toned” look. All sessions are hosted by myself, and my job will be to help support, progress and get you to that goal you so want to hit.

Do you like the idea of a personal trainer, but not too keen on the price tag? Then our small group personal training sessions could be just what you're looking for. Come and join us and up to 6 like minded individuals in our private personal training studios. The environment will have all the benefits of a group exercise session but your workout will be tailored to your individual needs and fitness level. All sessions will be hosted by a level 3 group exercise personal trainer and you will have access to a private Whats app group.

Wednesday and Friday: Buggy Beat (Fordham Park, New Cross, 10.30am).

Are you a new parent? Had all your postnatal checks? Or maybe your a childminder, or have a toddler and wanting to meet other parents and children whilst getting in a bit of exercise then this class is for you. Come and join us down at Fordham Park for a 50 minute workout where we incorporate cardio and resistance exercises to help give you energy, strength and feel good vibes to navigate through parenthood. I am a new mum myself and will have my baby boy in tow, and will have loads of spots for feeding, changing and a local cafe for toilet breaks. Bad weather? There is shelter or you can rearrange to another day.

Squatting is more fun when your with friends ❤️.

This evening I launched my small group personal training sessions down at Fit Fun studios and we had an amazing start. We spoke together about each others goals, and I assessed the ladies fitness levels for them to have their own plan next week.

See you maybe working as group but your workout will be personalised to your own abilites and goals. As per this photo the girls are at different stages when it comes to squatting but they supported each other throughout and great work was achieved.

Our small group personal training sessions, gives you the community and support that a group exercise class does with the personalised service of a personal trainer.

Our sessions are made up of 6 people max 😃and each person gets an individual plan tailored to their own goals and needs. Whilst your training is personalised you can still get that group exercise feeling, as you work out among like minded individuals.
