A huge well done to all the girls today in our first friendly against Whickham Fellside Ladies 💪⚽️

The scoreline doesn’t define us as a team. Whickham took the win today with some absolutely fantastic football played, finishing 7-0 winners 👏

The first half saw Castleside Ladies dominate, and we went into half time only 1-0 down. In the second half, the heat started to take control, but despite the tough conditions the girls continued battling and pushed through the full 90 minutes without giving up.

The attitude, determination, and teamwork shown today was brilliant from start to finish. We take the lessons from this game, learn from it, and come back fighting stronger when the season starts 💙⚽️
