What a couple of weekends our Boys have had!!

14th June was our U10s Presentation Night where we got to celebrate all the boys achievements from our U10 campaign, an unbelievable season from all of the kids, full of highs, a few lows, plenty of learning and absolutely amazing development - to see them grow as a group, a team and individuals is priceless and Coach Josh, Coach Telford and Coach Craig could not be prouder of them all - well done boys, keep up the fantastic work🙌🏼⚽️🧡🖤

20th and 21st June saw the first Castleford Town Gala in 10 years being hosted at our very own Queens Park! What a fantastic weekend, we had the weather, we had the football and we had the atmosphere! A huge success by all involved, cannot thank our U10 parent volunteers enough as well as volunteers from our other Teams to pull it off - Amazing!!

Our U10s came up against some very good opposition over the weekend and narrowly missed on 2 Final places by Penalty Defeats - really harsh way to go out but could not be prouder of the lads for digging deep, showing resilience, determination and for how they came together as a group to make sure each other was okay!🧡🖤

Sunday 7th June..

Our first friendly back after a well deserved 2 week break! The lads were buzzing to be back at it!

We hosted FC Farsley Golds at Queens Park who we always have fantastic contests against, and this game was no different!

The Cas lads started off with a bang with with some great play and finishes to go into half time in control of the game! Some great passing and counter attacking on display from them - lovely football🔥⚽️

FC Farsley kept coming at us and took there chances very well managing to grab more goals themselves and ended up nicking it at the last!

A great game of football between two really well matched teams! It’s good to be back⚽️💪🏼

This weekend was our Annual Trip to Beach Football in Brid with the Castleford Town U10 Family!⚽️☀️🏝️

Another great experience for the boys who loved every minute, played some lovely stuff and battled hard!

The first time we’ve ever split the boys up into Oranges and Blacks for plenty of game time, and the best thing was they all came back together to chill/eat/play in the sand after each game - a proper team⚽️🧡🖤

Castleford Town U10’s are looking for 2 more volunteers to step into Coaching Roles with view to creating a 2nd Team for next season due to waiting list demand!

Sunday 19th April.. in the League at Home to Holbeck..⚽️

The sun was shining for the U10 lads at home at Queens Park on Sunday.

Despite a challenging start the lads kept their heads high and didn't give up.

Their effort paid off and the second half brought an excellent penalty save and a well deserved goal.

The team did themselves proud with their positive energy and kept their focus on the game under tricky circumstances.

12th April - Away at Allerton Bywater⚽️

The U10 lads were back with a bang💥 after the Easter Break as we made the short trip over the river to Allerton Bywater.

From the first minute, the energy was there, pressing executed to a T and we reaped the rewards with 2 goals inside 10 minutes! The Cas lads grew ever comfortable into the game and continued to dominate and control possession with some fantastic passing on display.

Efforts didn’t slip into the second half either, cool, calm, collected and some lovely attacking play resulted in Cas’ third goal, thoroughly deserved too.

A complete performance from our U10 boys, who should be very proud of themselves - well played lads!🙌🏼⚽️
