This weekend was our Annual Trip to Beach Football in Brid with the Castleford Town U10 Family!⚽️☀️🏝️

Another great experience for the boys who loved every minute, played some lovely stuff and battled hard!

The first time we’ve ever split the boys up into Oranges and Blacks for plenty of game time, and the best thing was they all came back together to chill/eat/play in the sand after each game - a proper team⚽️🧡🖤

Castleford Town U10’s are looking for 2 more volunteers to step into Coaching Roles with view to creating a 2nd Team for next season due to waiting list demand!

If you’d be interested in an opportunity or want any more information, please drop us a message, the roles will be fully supported in gaining the relevant qualifications and getting set up and running.

Sunday 19th April.. in the League at Home to Holbeck..⚽️

The sun was shining for the U10 lads at home at Queens Park on Sunday.

Despite a challenging start the lads kept their heads high and didn't give up.

Their effort paid off and the second half brought an excellent penalty save and a well deserved goal.

The team did themselves proud with their positive energy and kept their focus on the game under tricky circumstances.

12th April - Away at Allerton Bywater⚽️

The U10 lads were back with a bang💥 after the Easter Break as we made the short trip over the river to Allerton Bywater.

From the first minute, the energy was there, pressing executed to a T and we reaped the rewards with 2 goals inside 10 minutes! The Cas lads grew ever comfortable into the game and continued to dominate and control possession with some fantastic passing on display.

Efforts didn’t slip into the second half either, cool, calm, collected and some lovely attacking play resulted in Cas’ third goal, thoroughly deserved too.

A complete performance from our U10 boys, who should be very proud of themselves - well played lads!🙌🏼⚽️

Introducing our boys football sessions!

If your child is currently in year 1 & 2, bring them along for a fun session while developing your football skills.

The sessions are run by qualified and DBS registered coaches and will run from Friday 6th February to the 27th march , indoors at Castleford Academy.

Cas Town Girls U13s are recruiting!!!

As we move into our first ever season at 11 a side we are looking for players of all positions. Girls going into Year 8 or Year 7 as of the new school year in September are eligible to join.

With a number of girls moving into the JPL , we have spaces open to join this talented squad and join the brilliant signings we have made so far. We have a quality filled programme. Our aim is to deliver technical training sessions, provide a match day programme played on a top notch pitch and at the core of all this is our family feel that we want to make your daughter and your family a part of.

We Train Wednesday evenings at Pontefract Park and play games on Saturday morning in the WRGFL

Today we went to Wakefield Owls’ Gala and it wasn’t half a scorcher☀️

Despite the heat, these lads went on to deliver some incredible performances, they battled every minute of every game, and put on some sublime football to watch🧡🖤

We won the Semi’s on penalties with some cracking finishes, and some superb saves from Jaxon between the sticks!

After narrowly missing out in the Final 1-0, we still got our first piece of Silverwear which no one else deserves more than these kids.

Well done boys, you’ve done us all proud!🧡🖤⚽️
