☆MAN OF THE MATCH☆

This award could of been given to several forwards and was a hard one to choose, been very light on the bench and the poor weather conditions meant for a tough day for the middles with several having to put in a full 80 minutes 🥵

Yesterday's M.O.M award went to our new stalwart prop forward James "handbrake" Williams, James has been an immense signing this year for the Panthers, his workrate is second to none, always the first to have a hand up for that first carry and gives 60+ minutes week in week out 👏

Yeah the boys !
The Panthers defeat the Raiders for the third time of the season! We took the short trip over to whitwood today to face a very strong Cutsyke Raider team.

With 8 of the usual starting 13 missing the boys really had their backs up against the ropes from the get go. True grit and determination to rally round each other to get the win is a testament to this panthers team no matter what side they field 🫡

Thank you to the fans what came to show the support today, a full stand away from home cheering on the lads we appreciate it ⬛️⬜️

Next up for the Panthers is local outfit Cutsyke Raiders ARLFC for the third time this season 🤝.
The boys take the short trip over to the Whitwood playing fields Saturday for a 2.30pm Kick off.

We hope to see plenty of fans down showing the lads some support, its much appreciated 🙌

𝗣𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗚𝗘𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗪𝗜𝗡

The boys managed to get that one over the line against a strong Eastmoor side that never gave up. The game was a fiery encounter which was a great watch for the neutral. The game saw the return of veteran half back Luke Metcalfe who dictated play throughout despite tweaking his groin in the warm up.

Panthers scored some great tries with the pick of the bunch being a beautifully weighted kick from the General which was plucked out of the air by young center Travis Morse to go over for four points.

Panthers need to work on goal kicking this week in training as many opportunities to add further points were squandered. Coaches Smithy and Evo were pleased with the effort from the boys and the result.

Panthers next play away at local rivals Cutsyke Raiders next Saturday down at their Willowbridge pitch.

After a week off the Panthers are back in home soil against Eastmoor Dragons. The Wakefield outfit have made a strong start to the season and will provide a good test for the Raglan Close boys.

Kick off is at 2:30pm, get yourself down to the club and cheer the lads on.
