A review of our course from yesterday.

Dear Michael,

My playing partners and I felt it was important to contact you to express our appreciation to you, the committee, and especially the greenkeeping staff for the outstanding condition and presentation of your course.

Every aspect of the course is maintained to an exceptionally high standard, and the overall presentation is truly second to none. Having played a large number of courses across Durham, Northumberland, and Yorkshire this year, we can confidently say that your course ranks among the very best.

The hard work, dedication, and attention to detail shown by everyone involved are clearly evident, and you should all be immensely proud of what you are achieving.

Last night we made the short trip to take on our near neighbour's and friends from Hartlepool Golf Club .

Our only points came in the handicap section with wins for Gary Burlinson, Jonathan Slee & John Graham

Match result.

Ladies Team Update

Castle Eden ladies continue to have mixed results in their League matches this season. Unbeaten at home and close results in our away fixtures. We currently lie tied first with Billingham and Blackwell.
Only three matches left this season so here’s hoping that we can finish on a high.
Our next home match is Thursday 25th June v Wynyard and two away matches v Blackwell Grange and Wynyard.
Well done to all the ladies who played.

Senior Team Result.

Yesterday we made the trip to Saltburn Golf Club in the Teesside And District Union Of Golf Clubs division 2 league match.

Match Result; Saltburn Golf Club 8 - 5 Castle Eden Golf Club

Match 1. S Dickinson & K Willis. Lost 3 down
Match 2. G Border & L Williams. lost 3 down
Match 3. M Stubbs & N Thornley. lost 5 down
Match 4. S Carr & M Olive. won 2 up
Match 5. J Bygroves & P Barclay. won 5 up
Match 6. R Bainbridge & M Oliver. Halved.

A great 5 points away at Saltburn is a fantastic result for our team.
