Last week a member told me that they tripped over a step but didn’t fall; their reflexes, coordination, balance and strength saved them. They reckoned that pre training with us that they would have fallen - and ‘it would have been bad’…
Thus ensured a conversation about all the ways in which being fitter and stronger has made our members lives better.
‘There’s a hill on our driveway that I used to get out of breath on walking up…not anymore’.
‘I helped my granddaughter move house. And I did the heavy lifting!’
‘I can still pick up my son - he’s 30!’ 😂
‘I raced my son … he won right enough …but I RACED him nonetheless’!
