Sat watching the 6 Nations and remembering when we toured Wales and spent the morning playing and training on Cardiff Blues RFC pitch.

We can't wait for a summer of rebuilding our girls section to see numbers like this back at the club.

Congratulations to our Maisie, who played for the Leicestershire U16s Girls DDP.

They had a great day at Shelford RFC, with the Foxes winning 35-5 and the Vixens Winning 32-38 over Eastern Counties. Congratulations to all the players and coaching staff.

Another day of rugby for our girls this coming Sunday but this time Maisie will once again be wearing the Leicestershire kit.

Good luck Maisie and all of your team mates.

This coming Sunday the U16s girls travel to Eastern Counties Rugby Union for 2 matches. Good luck and as ever, all supporters are welcome and the playersand coaches appreciate all the cheering and clapping from the sidelines. At Shelford RFC. Vixens KO is 1.30 pm Foxes KO is 2.45.

This weekend several of our players will be playing against each other as Leicestershire and NLD come face to face.

We are so proud of the girls, who have been selected to represent their counties, and wish them all the best.

As we make our way to the college this morning, to join many others, we will do sharing memories of brothers and sisters whom we have served with and whom we have lost, family members who have served before we were even born whilst sharing a thought for those who never even knew but gave us so much.

Castle Donington Rugby Club will remember them.
