Another league win for Cary Rangers! 💜

A fantastic team performance in the heat saw us come away with a 27-26 victory over Goal Diggers. 🌞💪

Everyone worked incredibly hard, stayed composed, and played with real discipline throughout. It was great to see us controlling the pace and putting into practice everything we’ve been working on.

A huge congratulations to Ros for being named our Player of the Match, and to Rachael M-S for picking up the opposition’s Player of the Match award. 👏✨

💜 A great evening for our Yeovil League team! 💜

A fantastic 27–13 win against Smilee Gems! 🤩 A brilliant team performance with everyone putting in a huge shift from the first whistle to the last.

Ros worked her socks of and was recognised for her fantastic feeds, while Lara picked up our Player for an incredible defensive performance. 👏

🏐 Halfway Through Summer League! 🏐

We’re now halfway through our summer league season, and both of our Rangers teams are doing brilliantly! With plenty of great netball, lots of laughs, and some fantastic performances so far, we thought it was the perfect time to introduce our captains, starting with our Sherborne League team.

💜 Meet Meg & Matt 💜

Meg has been part of the Rangers family for many years and brings a huge amount of netball knowledge, experience, and energy to the court. A fantastic all-round player, she’s currently absolutely smashing it in the shooting circle and leads the team with constant encouragement, motivation, and positivity.

Matt joined us last year after we met him at the Sherborne Summer League, and we’re very glad we did! He brings a fresh perspective to our game, a brilliant attitude, and positivity in every match and training session. No matter the score, Matt always keeps spirits high and gets the best out of those around him.

Together, Meg and Matt make a fantastic leadership team. Their support, enthusiasm, and teamwork help create such a positive environment both on and off the court.

We can’t wait to see what the second half of the league has in store! 💪💜

💜 Rangers 42-17 Heron 💜

Another fantastic performance from the team at Yeovil League last night! 🌟

The progress made over the last year continues to shine through every week. From accurate shooting and strong rebounding to patient build-up play and determined defending, there was so much to be proud of across the court.

A special mention to Erin, our Player of the Match, for bringing endless energy, brilliant interceptions and some key moments that helped drive the team forward throughout the game. 👏

Congratulations also to Ellie, who received the opposition's Player of the Match after an outstanding shooting display. It's been fantastic having her back on court this season. 💜

Thank you to our supporters on the sideline for cheering us on every step of the way. Your encouragement means a lot to the team.

Congratulations to Erin for a landslide Player of the Week! 💜 This week’s focus was effective change of direction, and Erin absolutely smashed it - taking everything from training straight into gameplay.

Huge congratulations to Rachael on being nominated for an England Netball ONE Award in the Outstanding Contribution Category! 💜🏐

For anyone who hasn’t heard of the awards before, the ONE Awards celebrate the amazing people who volunteer behind the scenes to make netball happen - recognising those who give their time and energy to support clubs, leagues, coaching, admin and growing the game.

This nomination is so incredibly well deserved for everything Rach does for our club, both on and off the court. Her hard work, support, commitment and encouragement do not go unnoticed and Cary Rangers wouldn’t be the same without her! 🫶🏻

It’s been a great couple of weeks with brilliant back-to-back wins for the Rangers across our Tuesday and Wednesday night leagues 💜✨

The improvement in this team is so exciting to watch, with confidence, communication and teamwork growing every game. The support for each other on and off court has been amazing, and it’s really showing in our performances.

So proud of this group and the positive team spirit we’re building together 💜 Bring on tomorrow night for our next match!

Cary Rangers vs Carpet Room 💜

WHAT a game 🤩 Our first win in the Yeovil League and what a way to do it - 29-8 to Cary Rangers 💜

A brilliant team performance across the whole court, with everyone working hard for each other from start to finish. The communication, patience on the ball, and constant re-offering made a huge difference and really showed how far we’ve come as a team.

Defensively we applied great pressure, forcing errors and turning over ball, while in attack there was some fantastic movement, strong connections and confident shooting throughout the game.

Huge congratulations to Meg for our Player of the Match, and to Emily who was awarded Player of the Match by the opposition - both putting in standout performances and making a real impact on the game 👏💪

Such a positive step forward for the team - proud of everyone 💜

Cary Rangers vs Kites 💜

Another positive step forward for our new team as we continue to build and grow together. While it wasn’t a win this time, there were some great passages of play and it’s brilliant to see training work coming through on court.

Strong defensive pressure, great movement through the centre third, and some lovely shooting combinations gave us plenty to build on.

Yeovil League is back! 💜

Our first game of the Yeovil League kicked off last night, with a 31-14 result and lots of positives to take from the performance.

We really found our flow as the game went on, with a strong second quarter where everything started to click - great energy, teamwork, and plenty of smiles on court 🙌

A huge shoutout to Lindsay for Player of the Match 👏 an absolute superstar in defence!

This week’s focus was on controlling the pace on a slightly slippery court and putting our defensive structures into practice - great to see that coming through during the game 🔥

A brilliant starting point to build on - bring on next week Rangers! 💜
