The 2027 racing calendar is officially here! 🏇

Mark your diaries for another exciting year at Cartmel Racecourse, with nine fixtures across May, June, July and August.

From the first meeting of the season to the August Bank Holiday, there’s plenty to look forward to on the track.

Retaining his title, this year's Cartmel Trainers' Challenge winner is none other than James Moffatt!

🌟 James has had another standout season here at Cartmel Racecourse, training some absolutely incredible winners — from Big Gypsy King, ridden by Leah Noreci and owned by Spencer Brown & Tyson Fury, to Zumbi, Charlotte Jones' retiring ride, owned by Dave & Yvonne Simpson. 🐎💨

Oh, and did we mention this is James' 8th Cartmel Trainers' Challenge win?

That's a wrap! While it seems like only yesterday we were welcoming you back, our 2026 season is now complete, and what a season it was! 🎉

We've seen live music 🎶, thrilling racing 🏇, incredible food 🍔… even tug-of-war 💪.
