JUNE & JULY FOCUS
STRENGTH:
What to expect:
* More variety week to week
* Strength work that flows with the workout
* Different lifts, rep schemes, and loading
* Better class flow and athlete experience
* Still focused on getting stronger
You’ll still squat, pull, and press—but with a more varied, engaging approach that reflects Mayhem’s training style.
We’ll kick things off with:
* 3RM Back Squat
* 3RM Deadlift
These benchmarks will be retested in the future.
GYMNASTICS:
Same philosophy: more variety, better flow, and less rigid progression.
Rather than focusing on one or two movements for weeks at a time, athletes can expect a weekly gymnastics skill piece chosen to best support the overall training stimulus.
Our focus:
* Strict pull-up and dip strength
* Body control and positional awareness
* Foundational gymnastics strength
* Advanced skill work mixed in throughout the year
Everything will remain scalable for all ability levels and helping athletes become stronger, more capable movers.
