Hi everyone ,
After 18 years of boxing coaching, I have decided to hang up the pads and retire from the sport I love .
My decision has not been an easy one as the club and boxing has been a massive part of my life .
The sport has taken me to america, austria and germany as a coach with teams from Co antrim , and have worked with some of the best amateur boxers and coaches in the country .
Opening castle boxing club on a 6 month project to tackle anti social behaviour, has now been running strongly for 12 YEARS now and has been producing countless winners , including co,antrim ,ulster and irish champions .
The club has raised substancial amounts of money for different charities over the years and continue to do so . IT has changed peoples lives . A credit to everyone who work behind the scenes to make this happen .
Andy Cochrane has coached with me now for 6 years and is more than keen to take on the challenge of running the club and head coach along with his wife Karen , his committee and coaches .
I would like to ask everyone to support Andy and his team ,as much as you supported me over the years ,and help keep the club as successful as it well deserves .

Young Harvey is leaving on Monday to box in 3 different states in America and we all wish him all the best on a trip of a lifetime at such a young age . Good luck Harvey !!
I would like to finsh by saying that I wish Castle boxing every success in the world and to Andy and his team .

To all boxers , coaches and clubs within the IABA , all the very best of luck in the future .
