Great turn out and great day at Carrickfergus gc yesterday for our charity day for Sean fitzpatrick and his choosen charity's with a total of £2360 raised. Thank you to everyone who made a donation towards this event and we'll done to all the winners on the day 👏👏👏

YELLOW BALL COMP

Each fourball will have a separate card to score there yellow ball points, the yellow ball rotates among the team members changing after each hole for example player A uses the yellow ball on 1st hole then player B on 2nd hole and so on. If any of your team losses the yellow ball that will be the end of the scoring on the card. Every team hand in there yellow ball card at the end and the team with most points will win the yellow ball competition

FOURBALL COMP

the best 3 scores on each hole will be counted towards your teams total at the end of the round. The team with most points will win the fourball competition.

There will also be prizes for closest to pin on each of the 5 par 3s on the course and longest drive (17th hole)

There will be prizes for individual overall best scores, best front 9 best back etc..

Each team will get tickets along with there cards to hand over for carvery dinner afterwards in clubhouse (eat once you finish round)

All places have now been taken for our charity golf day at Carrickfergus GC thanks to everyone who has decided to play.

In March one of our members sean fitzpatrick was diagnosed with a rare blood cancer hodgkins lymphoma he is currently receiving treatment for this terrible disease, we are looking to raise awareness for this by running this charity event in his name. Sean was a young fit healthy lad and this came as a massive shock to everyone but he's also a fighter and we our with him in every step of his recovery. You got this mate 💪
