What a way to round off the season! 🏉✨

Our Ladies Team had a fantastic end-of-season tour to Edinburgh this weekend, enjoying great rugby, plenty of laughs, and creating memories that will stay with us for years to come.

A huge thank you to Lismore RFC Ladies for the warm welcome and incredible hospitality throughout our visit. Special thanks to their coach for looking after us so well both on and off the pitch, and to referee George for keeping the game fun and full of laughs. We are so grateful for the effort you all made to make us feel at home and part of your rugby family 🫂

Following a great win, the celebrations continued in style with fancy dress, dancing the night away, and plenty of moments that will be remembered long after the season has ended 💃

While rugby brought us together, weekends like this remind us that our club is about so much more than what happens on the pitch. It's about the friendships that are formed, the bonds that grow stronger, and the memories that become part of our story 💕

A massive well done and thank you to everyone who helped organise and supported such an incredible weekend. Your hard work and dedication gave us the opportunity to make memories and finish the season in the best possible way 👏

Are you aged 8–18 and curious about rugby? This is your chance to jump in and experience one of the most exciting and inclusive sports around!

Our Give It A Try Programme is perfect for beginners or anyone wanting to see what rugby is all about. No experience needed – just bring your energy and a willingness to have fun!

A huge congratulations to both our U16s and U18s on reaching the finals of their respective Shield competitions! 🎉

Although the games didn’t end the way we would have hoped, both teams gave everything right to the final whistle, showing incredible determination, teamwork, and heart throughout.

You should all be so proud of how far you’ve come this season and everything you have achieved along the way. Your hard work and commitment have been fantastic to watch.

Congratulations to our very own Olivia Beggs, who proudly represented the Ulster U18 squad in yesterday’s friendly against Leinster at King’s Hospital School, Dublin.

Everyone at the club is incredibly proud of Olivia and this fantastic achievement. Her hard work and dedication continue to shine through, and she is a brilliant role model for all our younger girls coming through the club.

After last year’s amazing success, Carrickfergus Rugby Club is excited to run Girls “Give It A Try” again!

If you’re aged 8–18, this is your chance to get active, make new friends, and discover why rugby is such a brilliant sport. Rugby is all about teamwork, confidence, fitness, resilience, and having fun — and it doesn’t matter if you’ve never played before!

📅 Starts: Monday 11th May
🕖 Time: 7pm – 8pm
📍 Duration: 8 weeks
