Decided it’s time to come out of hiding and start posting on here again

Starting off with some new years goals this being one of them..

Most of my goals I’ve set for this year involve feeling good and spending more time doing things that lift my energy and bring out the best version of me, something I’ve been neglecting the past while

Training wise I’ve still been ticking away with not much structure or discipline so it’s time to tighten that up! And ofcourse trim some body fat coming into the summer months 👀

Feel good & increase energy 🔋
Get stronger, fitter, healthier 🏋🏻
Enjoy the ride 🫱🏼‍🫲🏾

If you havent set any goals or targets for the year yet, take a bit of time to sit down and write them out

Make sure to make them personal to you! don’t just copy everyone else or do things that you think you should be doing

And remember it’s never going to be an easy road, there will be ups and downs but writing them down and making it clear what you want will get you moving in the right direction 👆🏻

Over my 20s I’ve had many low periods

Some of those times I got so low that I couldn’t see any point in being alive anymore

We all experience low periods and times were we feel depressed but you know its a bad sign when the thoughts of giving up on yourself start creeping in..

This isn’t another one of those sob story posts, I’m just being real with you and I want to share with you the most important thing that I’ve learnt from those experiences

No matter how hard you try

𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻’𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗯𝗮𝗱 𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

YOU HAVE TO TAKE ACTION.

Physical exercise of any kind is one of those actions that can turn things around for you

It did for me and continues to help me on a daily basis

The mental benefits of exercise are mentioned a lot on social media these days

But honestly the positive effect that getting yourself into a good routine with your training, your diet and just taking more care of yourself physically can have

Can be the difference between you getting out of that dark place or not..

A saying that holds a lot of truth, is to start with the body and the mind will follow

Im not saying that exercise is some sort of instant cure for depression, its not, but it sure as hell helps get you moving in the right direction

It has for me and many others

It can do the same for you

Part of the reason why I decided to become a coach is to help others realise that

So again, you can’t think yourself out of a bad situation, you have to take action

Let that stick with you and remember it when you’re feeling low.

If you want to hold yourself accountable and increase the likelihood that you stay consistent as you move towards your goals

You need to create a set of standards that will essentially call you out on your own Bs..

On those days or those weeks were things don’t go to plan, your standards will keep you on track as you weather the storm

Write them out and stick them to your wall or make a notes folder on your phone called “Standards”

Then refer back to it often to see if you’ve been living up to them or not!

This month I have an exciting opportunity for a limited number of clients who would be interested in taking part in my new online program

I’m starting a new case study group with a max of 10 clients this month who want to lose up to 12kg in the next 90 days! Build strength and improve their fitness

As it’s early stages in the development of the new program I’m going to be offering a discounted rate in return for a case study and a before and after of your results

So if you:

1. Know you need a helping hand achieving your fitness goals

2. Have a spare 2-3 hours a week to implement my coaching

3. Are friendly and coachable, with a can do attitude

4. Have access to a gym or have some weights at home
