Not sure what to do?

Not sure where to start?

At a loss as to what is best amongst the plethora of misleading and conflicting information?

That was Mandy.

So we cleared things up and kept it simple.

Having a coach, namely me!, in your corner can be invaluable to educate you on what is right for YOU, pointing YOU in the right direction and keeping this simple to follow.

Life is complicated enough without the program you are trying to follow adding more stress.

Asking questions and getting answers that make sense is uncommon these days.

That is where a coach comes in and helps.

Knowing how to start, learning how to build and still remaining in control is key to success, this is what Mandy and I worked together to create, a plan that fitted her life not one that would dominate it. A plan that didn't require a gym membership and wasn't extreme.

Slow and steady works and Mandy is just another example of this.

Asking questions all the time to give her peace of mind she was doing things right and eliminating the confusion.

If you like Mandy are going round in circles not knowing what to do for the best and need some clarity whilst working a program designed around you then I would love to hear from you.

Sticking to a plan can be really hard work, especially if that plan is designed for the good weeks and doesn't survive the bad weeks.

Motivation is low.
Kids are dicks.
Work is crazy.

Familiar?

And then the plan collapses you write off the week and hope to start again Monday.

Well I may have something for you.

I have created the CBA plan (Can't be Arsed)

A plan designed to survive the s**t weeks, a plan that keeps you on track whatever life throws at you.

If you want your free copy just head to the link in my bio.

You are welcome!

You are bottom of the pile and have been since the 'little darlings' arrived.

The weight has steadily increased over the last decade and you have neglected your own self care in favour of your kids needs.

Though you should be top of the pile, not the bottom.
(A future post perhaps that may split the audience!)

You hate what's looking back in the mirror, your confidence is shot to hell and you are disappointed that you let it happen.

I get it.

But to think, in some knee jerk reaction way to finally taking a stand, that all your problems will be solved in 8 weeks is mental!

Ten years of self neglect isn't going to be remedied in a short time, it is going to take time, patience, determination, and consistency.

Sorry!

So be realistic in you expectations from the offset. And if you want to work with a coach that specialises in long term fixes to long term problems drop me a message.

I am not your stereotypical coach. I am too old and too set

in my ways to make any really big changes.

But I try to live well, eat healthy (ish) and move.

There is an expectation for coaches, PT's etc.. to behave

and live in a particular way, and a lot of them portray this

through their social media, falsely displaying their

perfect lifestyle and forgetting to mention all the things

they f**k up, they don't talk about the workout that

didn't happen, or the meal that wasn't ideal or the day

they just vegged on the coach because they couldn't

be arsed.

Well this is me being honest, not that I believe I portray

myself as being perfect, but here is another peek behind

the curtain!

I am normal, human, and slightly grumpy, and I am OK

with that. And if I ever portray myself contrary to that

you have my.permission to call me out!

Some pit falls of taking the 'fast and hard' approach to

fat loss.

We have probably on been on one, some quick fix, 8 week

solution to our long term problem of carrying too much

weight.

We may have seen some short term success, however,

have we kept them?

I haven't.

I stand my message of sustainable fat loss, not just

because it works for my clients, but because it works for

me too.

The calories are too restrictive, the training protocol

unreasonable and the flexibility of a shatterproof ruler!

My program is different, we work on long term success,

in a way that fits into life now and over time we establish

new lifestyle habits, new training expectations and the

flexibility to live live and not feel like you are always

missing out.

If you want a little flexibility, a program that fits in to your

life not one you have to fit around and the understanding

of a coach that has been there, then I would love to hear

from you.

Just drop me a message, I understand i have grumpy old

man face, but actually I am not that grumpy!

I am quick to demonize the 8 week fat loss programs.

However, it's not just those I have an issue with.

Detoxes, cleanses, fat burning tablets etc... are all pushed by people praying on your desperation to see results.

But the truth is...

You are just not consistent in the approaches you are taking and they are generally a plan that collapses.

Start small and build, reign yourself in, and be patient.

Let's remember that the weight didn't appear in the short term, so it isn't going to dissappear with a short term plan.

If you want to work with a program that lasts, that gets results you keep and work with a coach that 'gets it' then drop me a message.

I had been in the grips of addiction for over 30 years and now live a life of sobriety.

'Kicking the habit' is difficult and is never truly 'kicked'.

But, deciding to make changes and become a fitter, healthier, happier person is what George wanted most.

So we started working together to achieve exactly that.

It was not plain sailing and we faced many challenges along the way including relapse.

But he didn't let these brief periods of 'failure' deter him.

He dug deep and worked his arse off to not only get sober,
but to remain sober. Which is something he will be working on for the rest of his life. Just like I do everyday.

Once there was an extended period of sobriety we started to work on his fitness and health goals.

He wanted lose weight initially and then get some muscle.

He is a qualified PT and understands how to do it, but like us all (yes, including me!) He needed some accountability.

As you can see he is smashing it.

Focused on getting in the best shape of his life.

And with my ongoing support he continues to put the work in and reap the rewards. We even play squash once a week, he's s**t! But he turns up every week.

If you, like George, need some accountability, and want to work with someone who has a vast amount of life experiences, some good, some bad, but understands the complexities of adulthood, then I would love to hear from you.

We are busy, and dropping everything to focus on your goals is impossible.

Restrictive plans, unrealistic training programs, expectations way too high.

That's what you get with a number of coaches out there.

They dont understand the complexities of generally adulting.

We are not in our 20's anymore, even if we act like it sometimes! We have time constraints, responsibility, and others to care for so can't smash the gym 6 times a week and weigh everything we eat!

Greg needed a plan he could stick to, be consistent with and that would fit around his busy life.

So thats what we created.

He came in to the process with quite reserved expectations and goals, which we completed quite early on and then kept going!

He remains in control of his health, fitness and overall wellbeing after learning what is realisitc and manageable in the long term.

If you like Greg are not 20 anymore and need a program that fits in to your life not one you have to fit in to then I would love to start conversation and see where it leads.

Want sustainable fat loss ? Be a shark.

Keep moving.

Little is better than nothing.

Progress not perfection.

If your plan doesn't last its not the right plan.

"Just saying"

If you want a plan that fits into your life, a plan that doesn't rely on perfection, and allows you to keep moving forward, get in touch.

Drew.
