Wales, ensuring spectacular riding country and varied wildlife. Old Roman roads and ancient drovers tracks take us past clear mountain streams as they bubble down wild unspoiled hills into shady valleys. We have a wide range of forward going and well cared for Welsh cobs and horses to suit all abilities. However, as you will be riding for four to five hours per day, we ask everyone to have mastered the basic riding skills (walk, trot and a little canter) prior to arrival as we feel this will make their holiday all the more enjoyable and a lot less painful! Fun and relaxation are the main aims. If you want to stay in bed until breakfast time and saunter out just in time for the ride at 10.30am, your horse will have been brought in, brushed and tacked up ready for you. You are also very welcome to get up a bit earlier and prepare him/her for the ride. You will be supervised at all times, so it is an excellent opportunity to gain confidence if you are new to it. We are open all year round and unlike many other establishments, our prices remain the same throughout the year.
