WEEKEND ROUND-UP!

Another busy weekend of grassroots football for Johnstown FC, with plenty of goals, some excellent individual performances and lots of positives to take from the weekend’s action!

Minis teams across the weekend represented the club excellently and are showcasing their development every weekend.

For the Juniors, much of the same! The Boys u13 boys put in a fantastic performance in the cup, scoring 9 in an emphatic home Presidents Cup victory! PB x 3, BM X 3, DM x 2 and DW with the goals.

The Boys u14s has a difficult morning on the road against a strong Brynawel side. TB managed to score but it wasn’t the result the boys were hoping for. Plenty to learn from as they continue their season.

Our Boys U16s came out on top in a ten-goal thriller away at Burry Port! TM x 2, OT, OR, RTDJ and an own goal putting their name in the next round of the DL Williams u16 cup

A huge thank you, as always, to all our volunteer coaches, parents, supporters and everyone who gives up their time to make these opportunities possible for our young players.

🖤🤍 HUGE THANKS TO OUR SPONSORS 🤍🖤

A little later than planned, but we couldn’t let the opportunity pass without saying a massive thank you to every business and sponsor who contributed towards providing our First Team and Second Team with their brand-new playing kits. 👏⚽

Getting two complete squads fully kitted out is a huge undertaking for a grassroots football club, and the support of local businesses makes a massive difference to us.

We are incredibly proud to see the Johnstown FC badge represented across two senior squads, and equally proud to have the support of so many fantastic local businesses behind us.

A special thank you to:
🤝 The Friends Arms
🏗️ A&M Plant Hire & Construction - Edward Davies
🚗 John Morgan Autoparts
🚌 Morris Travel
🏠 Jones & Johnson - Warren Johnson
💻 Doddy the Viking

Your support doesn't just help provide football kits. It helps us continue to build, develop and grow Johnstown FC, giving players the opportunity to represent their club and community every weekend.

Grassroots football simply wouldn't be possible without sponsors willing to get behind their local clubs, and we genuinely appreciate every single one of you.

From everyone at Johnstown FC — thank you for your continued support. ❤️

Here's to another season, two senior teams, plenty of football and hopefully plenty more memories along the way!
