Great team working between Stage Commanders Terry and Mike running the Myherin, Tarenig, and the combined Myherin Main Stage on the Severn Valley Stages yesterday. It was a challenging day for everyone in some pretty horrendous weather. A big thank to everyone who assisted in running both stages, with Carmarthen looking after the Arrival and Start of Myherin and many in stage locations, Southern Car Club at the Finish. Epynt at the Arrival and Start of Tarenig and Brecon at the Finish. And not forgetting all the Rescue, Recovery, Radio Cars and in stage marshals.
Well done everyone 👌👏👏👏
And take it easy Mike Kennett , you deserve a rest after a few concerns earlier in the week 👍

Carmarthen Motor Club, having a busy weekend, Gethin Phillips busy doing Clock Car on the Hero 1 Rally, the others either competing, officiating or marshalling on the Severn Valley Stages, where the weather turned cold, wet and snowy. Well done everyone 👌

Great win for club member Thomas Cooper on the Kath Curzon Memorial Rally today. Also good results for Ricky Reynolds/Hefin Jenkins finishing 14th and Julian Weston/Daniel Evison finishing 17th.
And great to see quite a few club members out marshalling.

Unfortunately our Kev Hughes couldn't make it as he is recovering from a few issues earlier in the week, take it easy Kev, you will get there, all the best for a speedy recovery

West Wales Rally Spares Jaffa Stages Sunday 28th December 2025

A quick round up following yesterday’s West Wales Rally Spares Jaffa Stages, and wasn’t it great to have a dry sunny day for the rally, so everyone could enjoy whether competing, marshalling or spectating.

There was a big turnout of club members during the set up days, the rally itself and for the post event clean up. On rally day itself we had around 35 members carrying various roles from Officiating, Stage Set Up and Changes, and general event management. Thank you guys, events don’t happen without this support, and it was a great event.

And as always events need the support from other clubs, and it was no different in Pembrey so a big thank to all the timing marshals, radio cars and general ,marshals who came along, way too many to mention.

The event started with a full capacity entry of 70 cars, thanks everyone for supporting this end of year bash, a great time to catch up and chat and not have any championship points or positions to worry about. And amongst the full entry there was a great turnout of club competitors, with Thomas Cooper taking the overall win, with class winners and good results amongst the others, as below (non-club members in red).

Roger Albert Clark Rally 2025

Wishing all the best to our club competitors and support crews who are about to start Leg 3 of the rally in Carlisle.

And with the rally moving out of Wales, a big thank you to all the club members and friends who have been out assisting on the Rally for the last 3 days. We had a great turn out, too many names to mention. Paul Davies did a great job in Pembrey coordinating the crew there. And Terry Wyn expertly managed everything as the Stage Commander for Myherin.
We provided support at Carmarthen Show Ground on Wednesday
Timing Crews and Radio Car at Pembrey and Timing teams and Radio Car in Crychan on Thursday
Stage Commander, Deputy Stage Commander, Safety And Mid Point Safety Officers , Timing Marshals and Radio Cars at Myherin on Friday.

And last but not least assorted cooking duties.

Now it's time to concentrate on the Big One - West Wales Rally Spares Jaffa Stages in Pembrey on Sunday 28th December 2025.
