Glorious day today, cutting the excuses right down. The targets were also faultless in the sporting and DTL, they were there for the taking all day. It was also a treat to have the family of Gwyn Stephens turn up to shoot with us today.
In the 10 bird down the line today, 3 shooters managed at least one perfect round to go in to a shoot off.

In a tight final it was Marco who took the win with just one second barrel.
Well shot all!! Marco seen below with his prize from club vice-president Jason.
Our next shoot is now the 11th July, due to clashes of events again at the showground.
We can only apologise for the inconvenience but it is out of our control. Hope to see you all then.

UPDATE!! We are happy to say we now have a shoot next Saturday 13th June. Spread the word please .

Due to more event clashes coming up, we have a change of dates for the near future.
20th June is now cancelled
We are on next 27th June
4th July also cancelled
The next shoot after that will be uploaded as soon as we know.

The day started tricky and didn’t get any better! The forecasted rain didn’t show up but the gusty winds made shooting a bit harder than usual. The down the line trap was a lottery at times, where your call gave you a target that was getable or a wind affected screamer.
In the 10 bird DTL comp today, 4 shooters managed at least 1 perfect line to go into the shoot off.

Paul Evans(shooting with a new gun for only the second time today. That bodes well for the future for him)
In a close final, Lee and Mark drew.
Shoot off number two saw Lee take the win with another straight which composed of 10 balls of dust in these conditions!
Well shot all!

We are back in a fortnight, hopefully without Dai Gwynt present. See you all then
